DUDE
Marco is through to the semi-Finals of the Marseille Open where he will meet Croatian, Mario Ancic. Baghdatis, last years finalist, will face Britain's Andy Murray or France's, Jean Mathieu if he advances past Ancic. Baghdatis reached the semi's by impressively beating the in-form Russian, Mikael Youzhny who had previously had a record of 14-1 this year. DUDE
once again eliminated He was poor against Lopez... there's no excuse when losing to a player that is clearly inferior to you, particularly when 2-1 up. He also blew 3 match points!!
BlueStriker
Any news on this guy? I was looking for him in the U.S. Open, but didn't see him. He's ranked 110 in the world. What ever happened to him?
Euro2004
Any news on this guy? I was looking for him in the U.S. Open, but didn't see him. He's ranked 110 in the world. What ever happened to him? He was injured for most of last year and fell out of the top 100 as a result. His injury woes have continued this year (he missed 3 of the 4 slams). He's back now and won 2 titles (but shitty ones) so hopefully he'll make it back into the top 10 where he belongs soon.
Euro2004
Marcos Baghdatis' return to form was underlined today when he beat the World Number 1, Roger Federer at Indian Wells, 5-7, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4 on the tie break). A brilliant performance! Federer wasn't quite at his best but Federer at 80% is still a top 3 player and this was a magnificent display of skill, heart and nerve. Fantastic. :gr:
