  1. Such a promising start, such a poor ending. How did we gift the first goal?
  2. Our crosses have been poor. A few silly giveaways now and Socratis gets a yellow card as a result
  3. It’s the line up I expected. Bakakis will need to have a huge game for the right hand side to have impact as Bakasetas, even for AEK has only been effective centrally and he does not have the speed like Pelkas does.
  4. Dean, for the great stats Manos has, it was in the Greek Second Division and since his transfer he has played 1 game for Olympiakos in the Cup... To be fair, if we want to talk - football brain - you can't expect to have someone with one cup appearance and not first division experience, to get drafted into the National Team which is a whole new level, if he was worthy of this, he would at least be making the Olympiakos squad file
  5. Mantalos has a small injury but read he may play, Lazaros also had minor injury after AEK OSFP game
  6. Lol Klonaridis will never make Belgium. From afar I recall he has his papers ready for Greece but has never been called up. With our Striker issues, I’d be calling him up, he can score in UCL he would be useful for Greece and much faster than Mitro. He can offer more than Koulouris that’s for sure
  7. Prob a fair result at the end. We had many players out and for a little while thought it was over but then we just kept coming and coming! Telika Bakasetas got the equaliser with a very good header Bakakis & Galo prob our two best
  8. You can not make sense of Skibbe boys, it’s too baffling. He makes countless squad selections that make 0 sense, from 3 LB’s every time to the amount of players that have never had game time and then you have the out of form guys that get so much game time over in form more dangerous players
  9. Italy just jumped to P2 in the Coefficient standings
  10. Mantalos has been in good form
  11. Gianniotas would have been useful on the other side on the wing
  12. Klonaridis did great with the 2 goals but he should have served the win on the plate for Giakoumakis at 2-2... instead Benfica score a vlameno goal off the next play and win 3-2... He just had to cut it square for F***s sake. Squad is now very thin with injuries. Ponce did his hammy and Oikonomou also injured. I have a bad feeling Mantalos could be injured too
  13. Just because he hasn’t scored doesn’t make him a nothing player... his pace on the wing would have been great for us but we move on
  14. Sadly injured and out for 3-4 weeks, won’t be available for Greece
  15. Both games today proving why VAR needs to be in Greece
  16. I think what we hoped wouldn't happen is happening... PAOK won today because they have a key piece to a football team... a bloody striker!!! And guy that can get those critical goals and we do not at all, AEK played well, in fact and surprisingly, better than what a much stronger team last season did but we don't have a striker and our defense is also weaker than last year. To @athinaios point, away against PAOK we always struggle, in fact I think it's been 8 years since we won there for the league.
  17. Need a striker
  18. Last time we won any big game was at the 2014 WC, before that the qualifiers with Romania in 2013
  19. I know we have seen talents go to waste but Nini has to be up there with one of the biggest Most of the others at least played in Greek teams be mid table, Ninis has virtually wasted the year’s away since the first stint in Belgium and even then they let him go
  20. Another low budget coach in Angelos Anastasiadis
  21. Betis really dominated possession, OSFP fans for the most part happy with the point... this was a game they would have wanted to win I would have thought Thought Fetfa was one of OSFP’s best
  22. Will be on trial with Bnei Yehunda FC... 4th last in Israel... ?
