I guess if we continue on current projectory it’s hard to actually watch the games but I think there is some pretty basic things that will help fix the Ethniki. 1. Play people in their position 2. Stop giving kreata the same opportunity over and over again, only to get the same result each time 3. Play in form players 4. Use friendlies to be productive with changes, not just the same old (Skibbe did this all the time) 5. 2 & 3 should create some competitive edge to the team, not the current complacency we have seen

I agree with you in regards to Lambrou & Masouras. I don’t think you can bag out Fetfa for so many things and ignore Limnios’s weaknesses, I think he needs to work on much of his game too but he is young so hopefully all comes with time. Also you are ignoring some of the good things Lazaros has done, look at WC 2014, Serie A, his form for AEK & OSFP has been good but age is important for the NT right now so I don’t really mind if we do give younger and fast wingers an actual chance to help and establish

It’s quite bizarre the polar opposite feelings Lazaros brings out in people! He was AEK’s MVP in winning their first Championship last season yet people are whiling to write him off completely now. He has been poor with the Ethniki but he is a perfect example of how the ethniki operates and how some players get chance after chance, after chance, whilst guys like Lazaros & Fetfa get little cameo appearances in one of the most disfunctional football teams I have ever seen and are then expected to do well with statues around them. Time to get our best played out there. Until new blood proves itself on the wing, you can not discount Lazaros. The fact Bakasetas was/is given multiple opportunities on the wing and did nothing is a complete farce

Hmmm dunno about this Dean... Don’t think football moved on and left Samaris and Tachtsidis behind whilst everyone else evolved ? they both prob need to move to dif teams, Tachtsidis was never gona make it in England though let’s be honest.

He’s not injured... another wasted talent tbh. His career has really plummeted the last few seasons. Whilst he can be creative and make a mean pass I just don’t think the guy runs enough or emposes himself enough in matches

Some great points here guys. As for the Ethniki, defend or attack, what ever you wanna look at. When we play so many players out of position nothing will work. We have played without wingers long enough, on the few occasions we play with wingers we actually play ok so hopefully Angelos sees this as we’re gona continue to suck otherwise

He can be played as striker too, in fact he should get a chance over all the out of form strikers we have atm. Galanopoulos is a good player in the centre and his passing is better than Kourmbelis and Zeca atm who are both in ordinary form atm imo. His not a creative mid to answer your question but I think he can still improve the CM position

Villafanez would prob be a better option as he can really give Fortounis a run for his money IMO, and do a much better job than out of form Mantalos & Pelkas. Klonaridis is pretty hot and cold guys, Fortounis is better, Klonaridis is not that good on wing but behind the striker he can score
