we actually don't have many super fast players. tasos donis, manthatis, deligiannidis (not skilled technically), manolas are pretty fast not world class but our speediest. we have a lot of above average speed players tho like bakakis, pelkas, karelis, limnios holebas still fast and when he was younger was insanely fast.

his master plan is probably to do kolovetsios as lb as he's left footed.

I agree he isn't that bad. Only questionable thing is Tziolis. Leaving Holebas out due to beef over 'club-mentality' over form. And Tziolara but we basically did as good was we realistically were supposed to do 2nd to Belgium and losing to a better Croatia side that was a world cup finalist. Not sure if any other coach would have done better given our opponents. He's also not stupid by integrating Donis and Retsos and looks like he's doing that with Bakakis now. His hesitations with Fetfa also makes even more sense now as Fetfa is still not a starter yet with Olympiakos even. Even Rehhagel and Santos had players that on paper were some of our best on paper but were bad for the dressing room. Eg) Zikos, Georgatos

was watching an interview with Manolas and the owner of Roma and Manolas has ambitions of becoming captain of Roma. I think Totti made a big impression on him. Wouldn't be surprised if he stays there for a long time. Learning the fluent Italian is another sign too.

Holebas is no brainer but that's not gunna happen. Stafylidis next in line is injurd. Retsos i injured. Tzavellas's team just got pumped by Galatasaray 6-0. Tsimikas looks good but unproven. Since imo the rest of the lineup above seems fairly established I'd take a shot on Tsimikas. Skibbe will probably put Tzavellas or Torosidis which I don't hate the notion either I just hate more that Holebas one of the most in form Greek players atm is not starting. We don't and shouldn't have the luxury of leaving players of his quality out of the line up. karnezis auto starting spot is also in question as a bunch of greek keepers are looking great. imo pasxalakis is the best greek keeper right now but karnezis hasn't done enough to lose his starting spot and I don't think we boot people out too easily or we'll have another Ranieri scenario. If Karnezis has one bad game for the NT though, he has to lose his spot now.

might be because tachtsidis is more an attack minded cm that excels at through balls / creativity. creativity can be hit or miss though. I like the idea of mantalos and zeca. both are xtremely hard working players.

based on current form I'd rank it 1) Zeca 2) Mantalos 3) Galanopoulos 4) Bouchalakis 5) Kourbelis 6) Samaris 7) Tachtsidis 8 ) Androutsos 9) Tziolis 10) Petsos 11) Siopis not sure if i'm missing anyone. I'm thinking zeca cdm and mantalos as cm right now. if we have 3 of sokratis manolas retsos kpaps siovas available we could also just do 3 cb's zeca as sole cdm and put more attack minded midielders

there was a chat I saw on IG and it had top speeds of arsenal players. sokratis was third behind aubamayang and bellerin. It was only 2 years ago he outpaced Ronaldo I doubt he got that slow. I think people are just stereotyping because of his strength that he's slow. I didn't see any plays in which Sokratis was outpaced really so don't get where these kids are getting these facts.

ya olympiakos destroyed burnley. fortounis looking amazing. FK goal, assist cross off a set play and amazingly struck pk goal 2 goals and an assist. he's back baby!

it should have been tachtsidis and samaris in the middle but they s%$#! the bed in terms of form. those two also huge reason why we didn't qualify for euro 2016. they were supposed to hold the torch after katsouranis and karagounis retired

bakasetas looked really good in champions league qualifiers. think he should back our backup cf if karelis and mitro are out of form. we can play sorta false 9 with him + lazaros/donis/pelkas/fetfa on the wings too galanopoulos was class as well. think form wise gala and zeca should be our cdms/cms

true about pelkas. bouchalakis seems like a similar player to tziolis though. slow and only really brings a good shot. he's lower level than gala imo. boucha played 20 games gala played 40+ might as well start samaris as he played same games as bouchalakis in a more prestigious club
