pash, after my major ordeal of the last few days I was really looking forward to the special treat. B) As for the game. Pontoii Iraklis are threating this game as the match of the century. For some strange reason they decided that PAOK is their most hated rival. Just the other day there were some idiots on that Raptopoulos radio show claiming that Berbatov will not finish the match. And that stupid bald-headed clown even claimed that the game will never finish if PAOK manages to score and take the lead. Looks like we might be going into a war zone in two weeks. We need to go in, put a couple past them a quiet them down.

I am still searching for the scantily clad women pash.

The PAOK - Orebro Champions League game at Toumba will be televised live on ERT3 at 18:00 Greek Time. The official ERT3 stream is: http://webtv.ert.gr/ert3/

Konstantinidis out for 20 days after his injury due to the new pitch at Toumba.

The one point against Dortmund was a big bonus. Win would have been enormous. That one point might be the deciding factor between a 2nd and 3rd place. The next 3 games are big. We definitively need to beat Krasnodar at Toumba first, and go to Russia playing for a tie and with a little luck get a win.

I think this game was a good comparison on where we stand against Olympiakos. Without a doubt, this season Olympiakos is way above any team in Greece. PAOK is just trying to catch up through the rebuilding process. It will take some time. The main thing is for the fans to be patient. yes, we dominated the send half, but Olympiakos decided to sit back as they were happy with the 2:0 lead. You don't know what would have happened if we scored a goal, but chances are we would probably have conceded a third one instead of tying the game. After playing good defense on Thursday, the Vitor/Costa duo made way too many mistakes. You can't do that against a team such as Olympiakos. There is a break now, so the players can get some rest. Also the injured Cimirot and Leovac will be available again. I just hope Tudor does some kind of rotation, because we can't sustain playing the same 14 players over and over. That's what destroyed last season's team. We have a very difficult schedule coming up. In the span of 21 day we play 7 games (SL, EL and Cup).

I liked the fact that laola1 had just the stadium sound and no announcers. All the chants could be heard very clearly. If we relied on nova sports coverage they would suppress the sound from the fans. Still not sold on the Laola type coverage for PAOK home games. As it is I missed the first 20 minutes when the signal was not available. Unfortunately with this scenario we can't be guaranteed we will not miss any action. Also it will be interesting to see if they allow Laola to show the rest of the home games. There is only one big home game remaining (Panathinaikos), so it is quite possible that might be the last game available on Laola. I wonder how much PAOK pays Laola to show the games. BTW Laola is not available in Albania, Cyprus and Greece, because Nova Sports has direct rights for Superleague games in those countries.

The troubles at the start of the 2nd half were caused by the German fans. Still don't understand how they smuggled the stuff into the stadium. I guess we have not learned our lesson from the Rapid game. The 3-year UEFA probation should have ended in August, so we probably don't face a European ban. Otherwise we were looking at 1-year ban.

Tziolis was the MVP for PAOK. Tzavellas had a great 2nd half as well. Olsen made some key saves, but also screwed the team with the cheap goal, although blame could also be placed on Rodrigues who had a poor game. After the game some idiot fans from gate 4 stormed the field and tried to make their way to gat8 to start fights with the German fans. Expect a heavy punishment from UEFA.

Not a bad result. Could have easily ended in a blowout win for Dortmund. Too bad the other game did not finish in a tie as well. STANDINGS: 1. Dortmund 4 2. Krasnodar 3 3. PAOK 2 4. Qabala 1 The next two games against Krasnodar (home/away) are crucial concerning our chances of qualifying.
-
We need to keep the tie as Krasnodar is beating Qabala 2:1
-
Major save by Olsen to keep it 1:1
-
It was only a matter of time the way they were pressing us.
-
Good save by Olsen. But cheap goal minute later 1:1
-
BTW Krasnodar - Qabala 1;1 so far in the other game of the group.
-
German fans in gate 8 started fires and throwing flares. How the hell did they get that stuff into the stadium through security?
-
Tziolis and Konstantinidis our best players so far. Dortmund is very dangerous on set pieces. Hopefully we can take the pressure in the 2nd half and punish them on counters. We will need to play a good defensive game.
-
Great assist by Tziolis on the goal. We need to control the pace little bit better. Defensively Dortmund is not that strong as they are pressing very high. need to rely on counters.
-
Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool Mak
-
We are having serious problems in midfield letting the Germans controlling the pace quite easily. We are having difficulties getting into their zone. One big save by Olsen so far.

Let's go PAOK. Sounds like a good atmosphere at Toumba. Links anyone?

Our yellow friends took some time from their busy schedule in Gamma Ethniki to show their complex last night in Thessaloniki:
-
Vitor will most likely play tomorrow.

Heard a rumor PAE PAOK might offer a free stream of the game for people outside of Greece. Hope that is the case.
