penalty for Kalloni.
-
Need couple more goals and then throw in Cimirot, Konstantinidis, etc. We have two more games this week.
-
If we manage to score (BIG IF), than I think we will win easily. Otherwise, get ready for another 0:0 tie.
-
I think it's time that Cimirot puts on the soccer shoes and gets a start. Time for Kitsiou to sit on the bench and let Konstantinidis play instead. Something needs to change. Since the 2nd half against Tripoli we have played some lousy soccer. Of interest will be the striker position in that game. Will Berbatov sho was not happy at being substituted get a start, or will Klaus who is in poor form play instead?
-
After defeating Chania next week (I hope), this match should serve as a training session for the second string players.
-
We never had a chance. Getting only 2 points against Krasnodar and Qabala did us in. For the prestige of the team lets have a good showing in the 2 games remaining.
-
So far Berbatov has been one class above Klaus, who has been horrible. Either way, if they don't get service they will both look bad.

Exactly. Negotiating trick. Now that Konstantinidis has signed the next two contract extensions that are being worked on are Kace and Mak. I hear a rumor that Kace turned down a preliminary offer from PAOK, which was for around 400K, and demanded a minimum of 500K per season.
-
Correct. His signing brought in an independent sponsor in Sportinbet, many shirts sales (I still have to buy mine), and increased the prestige of the club to the outside world. On top of that the story is based on articles from the National Inquirer type media in Bulgaria and includes many false facts, such as that around 1,000 fans attacked the players after the Panaitolikos game. In any case, I would not be surprised if he would like buy out the rest of his contract with PAOK and move to a better league. I am really surprised that player of his stature would even consider coming to a shitty league such as the Superleague. I am sure Savvidis offered him some good money to take the PAOK offer instead of the Premier League offers he had.
-
There is one big difference between the two incidents. PAOK was punished -15 points (3x5), monetary fine and fan ban for the incident. The happenings at Karaiskaki were not even mentioned by the ref in the official match report. It's these double standards that fuel fan violence.
-
Konstantinidis signed a contract extension until 2019. 120K per year and 4 mil buyout clause.
-
How about the cigarettes on the table. The sad thing is that the picture comes from the official PAE PAOK web site. The rest of the pictures here: http://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20151123-to-geuma-tis-omadas-eikones/

One day after the bad result against Panaitolikos, the players and coaching staff got together for team dinner during which Klaus and Rodrigues were trolling Tudor after he called the players ballerina's following the game.

There is nothing wrong having Tziolis on the team. He is not spectacular, but he is consistent and a hard worker. What bothers me is that he plays non-stop, without any breaks. It's proven that he can't handle the two games in one week grinding schedule.
-
Well that shows that some of those players lack ability and/or experience. I am sure in their hearts they are trying their best. Best example yesterday was Kitsiou. On few occasions he dribbled himself to oblivion, instead of looking around to find somebody to pass to. I have noticed that some of our players when they get the ball just look down and try to dribble around. They don't play with their head up looking for the best play. Even Mak does that. As for Klaus, he has been very poor. The injury held him back, but the fact that we also got Berbatov might have been a blow to his ego and he can't adjust to the new situation.
-
If Panaitolikos had any real strikers they would have come out the winner in this game. We just could not unlock that parked bus. Starting Barbatov and Klaus together has proven to be a big disaster.Once Klaus left the pitch we played little bit better. Poor game by most of our players. Still can't believe that a player such as Berbatov would miss such a clear cut chance. Something has to happen to shake things up.
-
No reason to close it. It's a general thread about other teams. Not just episodia. And scenes such as these have not happened at Toumba for ages. Things have improved quite a bit over the years. That's not to say we are angels though.
-
Three out of those four actually show the passion when they step on the field. The problem is that their ability of playing soccer is kind of limited.
-
No he hasn't, even though it appears they want him to stay on the team. They don't really have to extend his contract right now. It will be extended automatically until June 2017. There is a clause in his contract that if he plays a certain amount of game this season it automatically get extended. Since he is playing in almost every single game, he should have a problem meeting that clause, if hasn't done already.

Tudor is still stuck on using 3 CBs on defense, and according to a report I heard this morning he will go with this lineup: ------------------- Glykos --------------------- ----- Tziolis - Malezas - Skondras ------ Kitsiou -- Golasa -- Kace -- Rodrigues ----------------- Berbatov -------------------- ---------- Klaus ----------------- Mak ------- I don't like the defensive setup at all. I am afraid we will see a repeat of the Panthrakikos game. We might score 2-3 goals, but will also be vulnerable in the back. Hopefully Panatolikos will not be as prolific in scoring on their chances as did Panthrakikos.
-
Vitor is definitively out of Sunday's game. I would not want to be Tudor trying to come up with a defense for this game. According to report he is still thinking of using a 3 CB defense. The only players available to do that are Tziolis, Malezas and Skondras. In other words, god help us. I would go with a 4-2-3-1 ormation. Something like this: ----------------- Glykos --------------------- Kitsiou - Tziolis - Malezas - Skondras -------Sabo --------------- Kace ----------- Rodrigues---- Berbatov ------- Mak ------------------- Klaus --------------------- If Kace is not ready, use Golasa instead.
