Not travelling to Krasnodar are Leaoac (1m noth out), Kace, Berbatov, Konstantinidis and Jairo (red card). Travelling to Russia among others are Cimirot and Kitsiou. Vitor is questionable and will most like start on the bench. Reports are that after the Tripoli disaster Tudor will switch to a 4-4-2 formation. let's see if he implements this on Thursday. If he does we might see something like this: --------------------- Glykos -------------------- Skondras - Costa - Malezas - Tzavellas Golasa --- Tziolis --- Sabo --- Rodrigues --------- Klaus ----------------- Mak ---------- Odd man out is Pelkas. Would prefer Charisis over Sabo and maybe Kitsiou over Golasa, even though Kitsiou is coming from an injury.
-
How old is he? Maybe he can come back and help Aris in Football League. If Koke can do it, why not him?

Even if we tie on Thursday, we still need to beat Qabala at home and get a result in Dortmund. Highly unlikely. Must win on Thursday.
-
The only way we can win this game is with some extreme luck and everything going our way.
-
Great first half, where we did not let Tripoli crate a single scoring chance. If it wasn't for selfish plays by the usual suspects, the game would have ended there. Complete capitulation in second half. Big mistake by Tudor taking out Jairo and putting in Klaus, who has not business on this team. The tying goal came too quickly with out defense parting ways like the Red Sea for an easy goal for Asteras. The team had nothing to come back with and score. Adding icing on the cake was a header by Sankare from a set piece. It's not like I did not warn you. Very poor second half. Costa the worst player on the field. Also Mak, Rodrigues and Pelkas continue to play selfishly, failing to pass the ball to open players. Tudor also to be blamed for making some poor subs. Another easy 3 points dropped against a weak Tripoli team this season.
-
Golasa had a decent game against Panthrakikos. At least for one half he did. Let's see what he does tomorrow. I am worried about set pieces in our end tomorrow, with Sankare being a real threat. Also the ex-PAOK player Giannou has been on fire lately. If we play like we did against Panathinaikos we stands a good chance of winning this one.

Will be interesting to see what lineup Tudor comes up with, considering the Europa league game on Thursday. I have a feeling that he will not start Klaus on offense as he has been dismal so far this season. If I ventured to guess a lineup I would go with this: -------------------- Glykos ------------------- ---- Vitor ----- Costa ----- Tzavellas ---- Skondras - Tziolis - Sabo - Rodrigues ------------------- Pelkas -------------------- -------- Jairo ------------------ Mak --------

Berbatov was brought in by Savvidis for marketing reasons. I really doubt if Arnesen/Tudor had much say in the matter. As it is the style that Tudor is playing is not really suitable for Barbatov and for that matter Klaus as well. It's probably no coincidence that the team picked it up in the Panathinaikos when Berbatov left the pitch. It's probably also no coincidence that Klaus has been lost on the pitch so far this season. I think we really need a good "dekari' that can create things on offense. Pelkas is just too young and inexperienced to take on that burden all by himself. Also we need defensive help badly.
-
Laola has a deal with OTE for the cup games. They had a bunch of cup games on today. It remains to be seen if Laola will continue to show the PAOK home SL games, or if it was only the two big derbys.
-
Once Rodrigues and Mak were thrown in, the outcome was never in doubt. I have to ay that Rodrigues and Jairo were great in the last two games.
-
Finally Pelkas 1:0. team is more offensive after Tudor put in Mak and Rodrigues.
-
Lineup same as above except for Mak, Jairo is playing. Poor display so far by the bench players. The only bright spot is Jairo. Panthrakikos should be winning 1:0, but thanks to a big save by Glykos they are not. They better pick it up in the 2nd half or it looks like Kalamaria from last season all over again.

If and when you come let me know and I will direct you to the best bougatsa in town. Not that there are that many places to choose from.

For those living in the Chicago area or visiting the city between November 25, 2015 and April 10, 216, The Field Museum will host an exhibition called The Greeks - Agamemnon to Alexander the Great. Here are the details: Take an exceptional journey through 5,000 years of Greek history and culture in The Field Museum?s latest exhibition, The Greeks?Agamemnon to Alexander the Great. Encounter Mycenaean rulers and priestesses, warriors and princesses of Archaic Greece, and heroes and athletes of Classical Athens and Sparta. This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition features more than 500 priceless treasures?many of which never have been displayed outside of Greece?from 21 Greek museums. Discover how the ancient Greeks saw themselves, their society, and their gods. Explore pivotal moments that led to the birth of Western democracy, philosophy, and theater, and learn how Greek culture continues to shape the modern arts, science, medicine, and sports. The Greeks is co-presented in Chicago by The Field Museum and the National Hellenic Museum, and made possible by the generous contribution of The John P. Calamos Foundation and John P. Calamos, Sr., Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Hellenic Museum. Also at the Field Museum between November 25, 2015 - December 4, 2016 the exhibition called Echoes of Stone Age Greece will be presented. details for that one: Imagine for a second a world suspended in time. What could a long-forgotten cave, sealed off by an earthquake thousands of years ago, tell us about how people lived in times past? Echoes of Stone Age Greece invites you into the enormous caverns and secret lakes of Alepotrypa, which serve as a passageway into Neolithic Greece. The bones and artifacts found there are helping scientists solve the riddle of why some human settlements disappear from history, while others flourish to turn into powerful civilizations. In this exhibition, you can explore Alepotrypa Cave yourself using a touchscreen panorama, and be one of the first to see a 3D model of the cave built from newfound data.

Players called up for the game. Tzavellas and Leovac will sit this one out along with all the injured players.
-
Berbatov will be out of action for 2 weeks following his injury in yesterdays game. He will miss the following games: Panthrakikos (cup), Tripoli (SL), Krasnodar (EL), Panthrakikos (SL). He should be ready to play on November 22 against Panaitolikos. It is also helpful that there is a one week break for national team games during this time frame.

Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage
Blackhawk replied to Blackhawk's topic in TV, Radio, Video, Gaming & Media
This weeks Greek Cup games should be televised live on OTE Sports channels, but they lost a court battle for the TV rights, so it is not clear if they will still go ahead and show the games. Laola1.TV is also scheduled to stream quite a few of the games live. In USA, Canada and Australia, Antenna Satellite/Pacific are scheduled to show the AEK, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos games live and the PAOK game on tape delay. It remains to be seen if the court decision might prevent these games from being televised. Panthrakikos are the worst team in Superleague this season, so we should have an easy time with them. I expect to see some new faces in the lineup in this one. The game should be televised live on OTE Sport TV and Laola1.TV pending a court decision concerning the legality of OTE holding the TV rights for the Greek Cup games. In USA, Canada and Australia the game should be televised on Antenna Satellite/Pacific on a tape delay basis.

He will most likely be loaned out in January.
-
We are totally dominating this game. Lets hope we play smart in second half and get an easy 3 points.

That and he is still going with Sabo. Sabo's psychology is in the dumpster currently, and playing him together with Tziolis is a bad move in my opinion.
