  1. Red card to Saramantas. Iraklis with 10 men.
  2. Klaus could have had 2 goals by now.
  3. Let's get a couple more before the half.
  4. Looks like the game will be played in an improved pitch at Toumba. Apparently during the 15 day break they did some work on the pitch:
  5. Citing various issues concerning how EPO operated, FIFA has decided to assign an interim committee to run day to day issues at EPO. This interim committee will supposedly be in place until elections for a new EPO president are held. It should be noted elections were to be held on October 26, 2016, but were cancelled after legal actions by Viktoras Mitropoulos. Here is the announcement by FIFA: http://www.epo.gr/media/files/FIFA_UEFA/FIFA_LETTER_HFF_NORMALISATION_COMMITTEE_20161014.pdf In my opinion this action is too little, too late.
  6. I would hope he has learned his lesson by now.
  7. I am pretty sure the grannies will come to Toumba on Sunday to destroy the game. They will park the bus and commit endless fouls to disrupt our game. If we get a goal early I predict a blowout. let's not forget they have no offense. All their forwards are either injured or red carded. Also they don't have Velios anymore. If I was Ivic my priorities would be: - on Sunday score early and often and then rest players - on Thursday rest some important players (even leave them in Thessaloniki) and try for the best. Tie is not a bad result. - Throw everything against Olympiakos My ideal lineup for this Sunday: ----------------- Glykos --------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leovac -- Canas -- Biseswar -- Cimirot -- -- Campos - Klaus - Rodrigues --
  8. Get a comfortable lead in the first half and then rest some of the big guys. Then do a mini rotation in Azerbaijan and be ready for the big game at Karaiskaki on Sunday.

  10. I expect an easy win in this one. Something like 3:0 or 4:1.
  11. Mystakidis was injured in the NT U-21 game against Israel, and most likely will not play against Hungary. Hope it's not serious.
  12. The solution is to completely disband EPO and start from scratch. Some of the criminals (Girtzikis and co.) have been removed, but a lot of their buddies are still at EPO running things. They completely destroyed the national team the past few years, and that has also been the case with the U-21 team. The most important thing is to appoint a regular coach, and not some ex-player without any coaching experience.
  13. ESPN3 in Australia and in the US is an online streaming service. It is also known as WatchESPN. Not sure how it works in Australia, but here in the US if you subscribe to the regular ESPN channels via satellite or cable you have online access to ESPN3. Of course you need to provide your credentials that you subscribe to those ESPN channels. The game against Estonia will also be on ESPN3, both in the US and Australia.

  15. Players going to Belgrade for the friendly: Μπρκιτς, Βελλίδης, Μάτος, Κίτσιου, Λέοβατς, Μαλεζάς, Κρέσπο, Κάνιας, Μπίσεσβαρ, Τιάμ, Πέλκας, Δημητριάδης, Κοροβέσης, Δεληγιαννίδης, Περέιρα, Αθανασιάδης, Δοδοντσάκης, Κυριλλίδης, Ματθαίου
  16. That's right in the hypothetical scenario you are presenting. However in this instance nothing even close to that happened. So basically you are saying that if there is a play and there is a player(s) in offside position but they don't influence the play an offside call has to be made all the time. And BTW I have heard otherwise about your exceptional refereeing.
  17. The way I see it is that it looks like the said player tries to move out of the way (or trying to put himself on side). Does not look like he is deliberately trying block the Veroia player from reaching Pereyra. Being a seasoned ref that you are I'll take your word for this being the wrong call, but I have my reservations about the rule.
  18. Skai TV has acquired broadcasts rights for the Greek national team's 2018 World Cup qualifying games. The station broadcast the games free over the air, while OTE TV will broadcast the games on the their satellite and internet platforms on subscription basis. This will include the two upcoming games against Cyprus and Estonia. As for the coverage outside of Greece for the two games, the Cyprus game will be televised on Fox Soccer2GO in the US and Sportsnet World Now in Canada. The game against Estonia will be live onb ESPN3 inthe US and Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet World Now in Canada.
  19. How do you define interfering? That could be quite a loose interpretation, and taking into account the Greek refs those rules will be applied or not applied depending on what teams are on the field. Looking at the pic I would not say anybody is interfering with Veroia players. The video is even clearer that there is no interference. See the link below at around 1:33 minute mark. http://www.novasports.gr/web-tv/on-demand-player/video/36851/veroia-paok-0-0-hl/#.V_U4jPkrLRY
  20. Too bad we could not get all the points against Xanthi and Veroia, considering we will drop quite a few points in the upcoming game. Starting with the game against Iraklis we will play 7 games in 22 days, including couple derbies. This will be the big test this season. Can we withstand this grueling schedule with minimal damage? Here is the schedule: Oct 16: PAOK - Iraklis (Superleague) Oct 20: Qarabag - PAOK (Europa league) - long trip to Asia Oct 23; Olympiakos - PAOK (Superleague) Oct 27: PAOK - Larisa (Greek Cup) Oct 30: PAOK - AEK (Superleague) Nov 3: PAOK - Qarabag (Europa League) Nov 6: Panionios - PAOK (Superleague)
