That's right in the hypothetical scenario you are presenting. However in this instance nothing even close to that happened. So basically you are saying that if there is a play and there is a player(s) in offside position but they don't influence the play an offside call has to be made all the time. And BTW I have heard otherwise about your exceptional refereeing.

The way I see it is that it looks like the said player tries to move out of the way (or trying to put himself on side). Does not look like he is deliberately trying block the Veroia player from reaching Pereyra. Being a seasoned ref that you are I'll take your word for this being the wrong call, but I have my reservations about the rule.

How do you define interfering? That could be quite a loose interpretation, and taking into account the Greek refs those rules will be applied or not applied depending on what teams are on the field. Too bad we could not get all the points against Xanthi and Veroia, considering we will drop quite a few points in the upcoming game.
