Perfect game to give Zambrano and Mauricio playing time so the can get into the rhythm for the Xanthi game. Also chance for Limnios, Deligiannidis to get some playing time.

This was a match that would show us if we have what it takes to win the championship. The result pretty much confirms that we stand no chance. And things can be worse next week after the game at Xanthi.

Sure the team budgets are different, but just for the atmosphere it would be worth it. It would inject some life into the football scene of Thessaloniki.

Panionios has several issues ahead of this game. Couple players have been fined and banned for 30 days by their front office. Also one of their best players Siopis is injured and will most likely not play. On top of that Lambrou can't be used by their coach since he is our player. As far as PAOK is concerned, Pelkas, Zambrano and possibly Mauricio will be back. They have a good midfield, but they are quite weak defensively. I expect a tough game, but with a little luck we could be looking for our first away win.

I think Vierinha's talent is wasted in that position. I would prefer him on the wings. He can play both sides. Yes we might have too many wingers, but I don't think we will buy Mak after this season, and I am not sure if Henrique will be back as well. We will need two quality strikers, as I believe Prijovic will be sold after this season.

I think the mentions of AEK and PAOK for Hult are manager's tricks to get a better deal. He's a decent player, but only slightly better than Leovac. I would prefer a Matos caliber player for the LB position.
