  1. I think there was a mention of office space construction as well. As far as I know Iraklis does not have any office space at the stadium. And if they did, the most likely did not pay the rent for it.
  2. According to news reports today, a PAOK contingent met with Kaftanzoglio management to inspect the stadium. It is reported that PAOK will sign a contract in May of 2018 to use Kaftanzoglio for 2 years with 1 year option in case construction of New Toumba is delayed. PAOK will pay for certain upgrades to the stadium (new dressing rooms, VIP boxes, etc.). Other teams (Iraklis, Aris, Panserraikos) can use the stadium at the same time, but will not be able to use the facilities at the stadium that were upgraded and paid for by PAOK.
  3. Also on ESPN3 for US based fans. Sportnet World in Canada and ESPN2 in Australia. More info here: https://www.facebook.com/Greeksoccerontv/
  4. Aretopoulos, the Gate 7 member, has been picked to officiate this game. We have had some bad games with this ref in the past. Hopefully he will not be a factor in the game. AEK is playing tomorrow in Europa League against AC Milan. They need a result to keep chances of qualifying, so they will spend some energy on Thursday, and they really don't have a bench this season. This could play in our favor. the main thing is for PAOK to show up and play with passion, something we seldom do in Athens.
  5. The Henrique red card: https://streamable.com/428rz
  6. Except for Crespo as LB I think you're right. Pretty sure he will start Leovac. AEK will play a physical game and will get away with it in front of the home crowd. Maybe put Kace or Canas on Araujo to make life miserable for him. I would still entertain the option of benching Prijovic and play Mak as forward instead. My 3-5-2 lineup would be: ------------------------------ Rey ------------------------------ ------ Zambrano --- Varela ---- Crespo ----------- Vierinha - Cimirot - Kace - Pelkas - Leovac ------------ Campos -------------- Mak ------------------
  7. It's on beIN Sports Connect in Canada. Facebook Live will also show the game. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/Greeksoccerontv/
  8. That's a major blow. One of our best players.

  10. Vierinha comes out. Probably his best game for PAOK since his return to the team.
  11. Biseswar for El kaddouri and Campos getting ready to come in. Most likely for Vierinha.
  12. We are giving them too much space. Need to press for the third goal.
  13. That one sure rattled the cage.
  14. Still think Pelkas needs to pass the ball on some occasions. There was on instance in the game where he could have passed the ball to Leovac who was in good position, but instead he dribbled the ball to death.
  15. That was a nice set up all around on the second Mauricio goal starting with Rey.
  16. I agree. We had the chances to do it. Need at least one goal before half.
  17. Should have been at least a yellow.
  18. Another good chance by El Kaddouri.
  19. Should have been 1:0 already.
  20. I'll take a tie with AEK and wins in the other two games. Of course we need to beat Tripoli for a start.
  21. ------------------ Rey ------------------ Matos - Zambrano - Varela - Leovac ----- Cimirot ---------- Mauricio ----- Vierinha ---- El Kaddouri ----- Pelkas ---------------- Prijovic --------------- BENCH: Paschalakis, Crespo, Shakhov, Biseswar, Campos, Mak I guess Biseswar can't get a break.
  22. Koulouris will be back, but who cares. He is average at best. We need better forwards than him. I''l go on limb here. We will struggle against Tripoli, but will manage a win with Prijovic goal in the 85th minute.
