  1. I understand he has been match fit for over 8 months now. He was just not getting playing time at Shakhtar anymore. He might turn out to be another Lino if things go well.
  2. I have no idea. I just like the videos.
  3. Polish press is spreading rumors that Prijovic is wanted by either Leeds United and/or Wolverhampton. Apparently Leeds is offering around 4.5 mil and Wolves around 7 mil.. Not sure if I believe any of these rumors.

  5. Mak and El Kaddouri will miss the game. On a good note, Vieirinha will be back, which is good since we need him for the LB position.
  6. This PAOK Zambia Fan Club is a fictional fan club created by a PAOK fan (Vap Papas). He produces these videos and posts them on youtube and his facebook page. Just do a "Vap Papas" search on Youtube and Facebook, and you can find all his videos. They sure are good for some laugh once in a while in my opinion.
  7. He is better than Hult IMHO. When we played Metallist Kharkov, he was one of their better players on the field. The question is if he is healthy. My comparison with Natho was not a player comparison. It was more of a transfer type comparison. We signed Natho for 6 months without any buyout option, which basically meant that he was not going to continue with us after the 6 month. We pretty much acted as a rehabilitation center getting the player ready after injury so he could return to his team 100% healthy. I just did not want Azavedo to be the same setup.
  8. Apparently we will pay Shakhtar 400K for the 6 month loan. After six minths his contract with Shakhtar expires and he will be free to sign with us if he performs to our expectations. Hopefully it won't turn out to be another Natcho situation.
  9. Another fine production from Fan Club PAOK Zambia:
  10. It's also very similar to the Henrique red card in CL: https://streamable.com/428rz
  11. Yes indeed.
  12. Drew 0:0 in a friendly with Qatar in Doha today.
  13. I don't think there is. It's a free for all as it should be from round 1.
  14. Than I would not send him to Platanias. They will be playing in B' Division next season and I am certain Siabanis does not want to play in B'Division. If I remember right it was very difficult to secure his contract extension at PAOK. Only after guaranteeing him certain playing time with PAOK did his Olympiakos based agent agree to the contract extension.
  15. I am not 100% sure, but I think I know who you're talking about. Would INPAOK be a clue?
  16. The results of the Leg 1 of the Round of 16: AO Trikala - PAOK 1:5 Asteras Tripoli - Atromitos 0:1 Platanias - Olympiakos 0:2 Panaitolikos - AEK 0:4 Panionios - OFI 2:0 Larisa - Xanthi 3:0 Lamia - Panathinaikos 4:1 Levadeiakos - Giannina 1:0 All indications are that PAOK, Olympiakos, AEK, Larisa and surprisingly even Lamia have already secured their spot in the quarterfinals.
  17. I think there was always punishment handed out, but it was in the form of monetary fines. Starting with this season new rules went onto effect. After 3 games with flares being lit in the stands there is a 2 game ban. For PAOK in yesterday's game it was the 3rd time that this happened. Funny thing is that if the flares are lit and thrown on the pitch, the punishment is only a monetary fine. If they stay in the stands the punishment is fan ban. PAOK is not the only one with this problem. AEK already served one game ban. Originally it was 2 games, but an appeal it was reduced to 1 game after they convinced the judge that in one game the flares were thrown on the pitch.
  18. I would agree to that move only if they guaranteed him certain number of games. Let's say at least 8 games out of the 15 left for Platanias.
  19. In my opinion if that's not a red card then I don't know what does. It might not have been intentional but it's a dangerous foul that could have resulted in a very serious injury. As for the Koulouris foul, yes that is the one. I agree it was a stupid foul by him, but we see similar elbow infractions quite often in Superleague without getting called at all. If there was a consistent punishment by the Greek refs for that foul than I would have no problem with the red. However we know that this is not the case.
  20. Just out of curiosity, who is Απαράδεκτος;
  21. Comparing Prijovic and Klaus is like comparing apples to oranges. So far Prijovic played 40 games for PAOK and score 20 goals (in all competitions). Klaus forgot how to score ages ago. He's probably scoring in other departments, but not on the pitch. I thought Prijovic had a pretty good game against Trikala, including two assists.
  22. Odds on Mak suspension being reduced are pretty slim in my opinion. Odds on playing the game without fans very good. Probably also against return game against Trikala, since we are facing 2 game ban. There is a chance that we might only get a monetary fine since the fans threw the flares onto the pitch. If they did not, the game ban would be certain. Go figure.
  23. The ref should be banned from calling any games. It's the same ref that did not give PAOK a penalty kick in the Larisa game and then red-cared Koulouris for a minor foul.
  24. In any other country this is a straight red. In Greece, and if you are an Olympiakos player this is only a yellow. Surprised Korovesis did not get a card for simulation.
