Agree on Kace, but I think he is gone for good starting next season.

Now that we secured the 2nd place (barring any point deductions for the Platanias game) let's look ahead to out participation in the 2018-2019 European competitions. PAOK will start the 2018-2019 European competitions in the Champions League qualifying rounds. UEFA changed the format of the qualifying rounds for non-champions route. In the past, 5 teams from the non-champion route qualified to the group stage of the competitions. With the new format only 2 non-champion teams will qualify to the group stage. The other major difference is that teams from Spain, England, Italy and Germany will not take part in the non-champion qualifying. PAOK enters the competition with 29.500 points in the rankings. Unfortunately this could be higher if we did not do so poorly last season by beingb eliminated by Ostersund. PAOK will enter the competition in the 2nd Qualifying Round of CL and will need to eliminate 3 teams in order to reach the group stage. Let’s take a look on what PAOK can expect: QUALIFYIN ROUND 2 (non-champions): Six teams will take part in this round. PAOK could be seeded in this rounds. It all depends on who wins the Turkish championship. If Galatasaray wins, then PAOK will be seeded. If Basaksehir manages to spring a surprise and wins the Turkish title then PAOK will be unseeded. Let’s look at the possible situations: If Galatasary wins Turkish championship: SEEDED TEAMS: FC Basel (SWI) – 71.000 Ajax Amsterdam (HOL) – 53.500 PAOK Thessaloniki (GRE) - 29.500 UNSEEDED TEAMS (possible PAOK opponents: Basaksehir (TUR) – 8.500 Slavia Prague or Sigma Olomouc (CZE) – 7.500 Sturm Graz (AUT) – 2.500 I Galatasaray finishes 2nd in Turkey than they will be in the seeded group and PAOK will fall to the unseeded group. The draw for Qualifying Round 2 will take place on June 19. The games will be played on July 24/25 and July 31/August 1. If PAOK does not qualify than we automatically enter the Europa League Qualifying Round 3, where we will most like be among the seeded teams. QUALIFYIN ROUND 3 (non-champions): If PAOK qualifies to Qualifying Round 3, then along with the two other teams that qualify, the following teams will be taking part: Ukraine 2nd place: Dinamo Kiyv or Shakhtor Donetsk Portugal 2nd place: Benfica Lisbon or Sporting Lisbon Belgium 2nd place: Anderlecht Brussels or Standard Liege France 3rd place: Olympique Lyon or AS Monaco or Olympique Marseille Russia 3rd place: Spartak Moscow or CSKA Moscow or Zenit St. Petersburg PAOK will be in the unseeded group of teams. The draw for 3rd qualifying round will take place on July 23 and the games will be played on August 7/8 and August 14/15. If PAOK loses in this round we will automatically enter the group stage of Europa League. QUALIFYIN ROUND 4 (non-champions): If PAOK by miracle manages to qualify to this round with the 3 other teams from qualifying round 3 than we will play for one of the two spots that lead to the group stage of CL. PAOK will be unseeded. The draw will take place on August 6 and the games will take place4 on August 21/22 and August 28/29. If PAOK loses in this round we will automatically enter the group stage of Europa League. Nothing is impossible, but I think realistically PAOK’s best chance is qualifying from the qualifying group 2 and then ending up in the group stage of Europa League.

You guys are discussing calls that could have gone either way in a game that ended in a 3:0 rout. Are you serious?
-
Also, it could be the last official PAOK game at the old Toumba, since it is possible that it will close to make room for the New Toumba.
-
I don't you are capable of writing meaningful material. If you consider what your are writing now comedy, than you don't even have any sense of humor, because what your writing now is really not funny.
-
Last game of the season. Hopefully fans will come out to Toumba and show the team the respect it deserves for winning the Superleague title on the field, where the game should be played. It should be a celebration for the best PAOK team in the recent decades, and it should be a send-off to the final of the Greek cup. The game was switched from Sunday to Saturday and will be televised on PAOK TV.

I did not see the game but thoroughly enjoyed listening to it on my drive home from Pittsburgh. Nice win.

He should be back to practices next week according to the reports I read.
-
The only good thing about Donald is that he provides us with endless comedy relief. Much better than George W. He will be dearly missed after 2020 (if not sooner).
-
Everyone should get in. The issue is if we will have casualties before the game. The Original21 chickens already came out with an announcement that they will chase out any PAOK fans out of Athens. There will be problems outside the stadium for sure and I expect that there will be in the stadium as well. And it will not come necessarily from AEK fans. They will have help from their red buddies. Their goal is still to get into the Champions League for next season. Our fans will need to be very careful.
-
Campos is injured and is not available for the game.
-
Also the Xanthi goalie Zivkovic has been rumored as signing a 4-year deal with PAOK. I think it's just:
-
Red cards count in the cup games, yellows don't. Our key players must be very careful not to be red carded as I am very sure they will be provoked during the game.
-
The first meeting concerning the organization of the cup final was held today. The police asked that only 13,000 tickets per team be allotted. PAOK asked for 24,000

And the complex in you comes out. Like we didn't already know it. As for the game rest some players and go in Leoforo and try to win the game.
-
Even better is to declare Macedonia autonomous region and have our own league just like in Great Britain (Scotland, Wales No. Ireland). As it is we are considered 2nd class citizens in out own country.
-
Sounds good but I doubt if it will happen.
-
If we don't show up we will be relegated to B' Division. If we field U20 team they will charge us with defamation of the sport and be punished with severe point deductions and empty Toumba. EPO can give tickets but PAOK should turn them down with an official announcement that we don't trust them to guarantee our safety and their ability to run a fair competition. As for Grexit, I think that's just a propaganda scare tactic fueled by the Athenian media. The more possible threat is PAOKexit, something that POK in general and AEK with Olympiakosis in particular with help of politicians are pushing for. That's why the Greek Cup final at OAKA is a perfect trap for them to eliminate PAOK from becoming a force in Greek football. We already are -2 points for next season. They would like nothing better than us starting the season with -10 points and empty Toumba. Their overall goal is to run Savvidis out of the country. Why do you think the gangster and former criminal the other day called PAOK people "Mao Mao". If trouble happens he will bring that quote back saying I told you so. PAOK needs to go into the final with the motto DON'T TRUST ANYBODY and take all the possible precautions to eliminate any possible provocations that will happen.
-
We still have the 3rd appeal to file. Chances are slim that anything will change, but we need to go through the paces and keep reminding everyone that this year's title is a paper one won in the courts and not on the field.
-
Apparently there is no gentlemen's agreement between PAOK and PAO and the two loaned players (Kace, Mystakidis) are able to play in this game. As it is the PAO players are abstaining from training and who knows if they will show up for the game. In any case this game is quite meaningless for PAOK. I would rest some of our key players in order to avoid injuries and red cards ahead of the cup final.
