  1. Some friendlies that we will possibly play during the pre-season training are against Shakhtar Donetsk, Club Brugge, and the local amateur side.
  2. What are you talking about? The rules specifically say -6 points. And how is PAOK setting a bad standard? The courts actually applying the law is considered a bad standadr? As for karma, if Olympiakos receives the 6 point deduction, that is the karma really being a bitch for all the p*****es for the past 30 years. What I find interesting is the silence by AEK and PAO in this matter. The original POK is alive and it still rules.
  3. Stathis Psaltis, the actor who appeared in many great comedies died of cancer at the age of 66. RIP
  4. There was a lot that happened during and after the game. Most of that is punishable by fines and fan bans. However the major issue is that if a member of the officiating team is physically or verbally attacked then the fines include points deductions, and in this case the rules say -6 points. The things in this case get complicated. The head of the officiating team, who is from a regional EPO enosi that is controlled by Olympiakos only wrote the very minimum in the match report. However his assistant in this game, who is from the enosi that has been aligned with Savvidis for the upcoming EPO elections was called in front of the court after a request by PAOK and he confessed that he was physically attacked. The question is if the judges will believe him. During the court proceedings PAOK has also asked for the surveillance camera footage to be introduced in court, but that has not happened. All sides have until Monday to produce any additional evidence. Decision is expected on Tuesday.
  5. Hmmm. Linesman from Piraeus has been assigned for this game. The other thing that worries me is Parashos, the coach for Platanias who has a deep hatred for PAOK. We will need to be careful, but we must achieve our goal, and that is a win. Besides Leovac it appears that Canas will be rested for the cup game.
  6. Why can't we have linesmen (I mean lineswomen) like this in Superleague?
  7. BTW if you have nothing else to do, here is a video of the full match (PAOK - Panathinaikos 4:0). The Kostikos goal is around the 28th minute mark.
  8. Fix or no fix I'll take a sweep.
  9. It appears it will be the last game of the season for the Blackhawks tomorrow unless miracles happen.
  10. Total domination of the Boston Celtics by the mighty Chicago Bulls in the NBA playoffs. What do you Bostonians have to say?
  11. I expect the playoffs to be delayed if they punish them with -6 points. Notwithstanding what happens PAOK needs to win the last two games (Platanias, Kerkyra).
  12. Well Olympiakos is being called by EPO disciplinary commission to a hearing concerning the trouble in the cup game with AEK. The fines are clearly spelled out in the rule books and include point deductions. The question is if gavro lawyers will find some loopholes to get a way with it. PAE PAOK came out and said that they will attend and take part in the court proceedings since any decisions will impact the team. The hearing is set for Thursday, but I predict delays due to bomb threats or any other means.

  14. I am all tsourekied out thanks to my pethera. She was busy baking all week. We did manage to overturn some insurmountable leads in return legs. One in 1985 comes to mind, and of all teams against Panathinaikos and also in the semifinal of the cup. We lost 2:0 in Athens, and then destroyed them 4:0 in Toumba. Here is the second goal of the game by Kostikos with a scissor kick after which he was 5 minutes unconscious.

  16. Leovac is out. He will also miss the last game against Kerkyra. Shakhov is available, but he needs to get a card in this game in order to miss only one playoff game. We need to win this game, just in case a miracle happens and Olympiakos loses the last two games in Superleague (Giannina, Panaitolikos), or if another miracle happens and they are deducted 6 points from the standings. Our goal should be to win the two SL games and give it our all in the return game with Panathinaikos in the cup and hope for the best.
  17. From what I remember reading somewhere couple years ago, he studied sports management in England.
  18. I don't think so. It would apply this season, but like I said, fat chance this will ever happen. The scenario I imagine is that Olympiakos gets 6 point deduction, and then on appeal it gets cut to 3 points. Remember last season when we got -5 points, it was reduced to -3 after the appeal.
  19. Blackhawk players decided not to show up for the two home games against Nasville. Failed to even score a single goal in the two games. Third game tonight in Nashville. It's almost a do or die game for the team.
  20. The Greek sports press is hinting at -6 points to Olympiakos for the trouble in the cup game with AEK. That would basically mean that if we win our remaining two games we will be crowned the champions of Greece. Presonaly I think there is no chance in hell that this will ever happen.
  21. He is not only the President's/Owners son, he is also on PAE's Board of Directors, and as such he should act accordingly.
  22. Savvidis Jr. is having fun on social media again posting this pic:
  23. After the first semifinal games it looks like an all-Athenian final. Panathinaikos - PAOK 2:0 Olympikaos - AEK 1:2 Retur legs will take place in 2 weeks.
  24. I am confident that the dynasty will be extended with the start of the 2016-2017 NHL playoffs. I think Blackhawks have a solid team that can take them to the Stanley Cup finals once again. Facing the Nashville Predators in the first game of Round 1. My prediction is Hawks in 5 games.
