From what I heard it's not PAOK that initiated the loan talks. It was Tissoudali himself that came to PAOK with the offer from Saudi Arabia, which means that he has no intentions staying around. The Zivkovic injury is a big blow. Hopefully Despodov can fully cover the position. If we don't make a transfer move for the position, I foresee Vieirinha getting some extra time in that position to give Despodov some breathing room.

In a preparation game in Spain, Slavia tied with a Polish club Rakow Czestachova. The score was 2:2. They were losing 2:0, but managed to tie the game in the end. Slavia will play one more friendly in Spain against Philadelphia Union this week before traveling directly to Thessaloniki for the Europa League game.
-
BTW, Camara will not play in this game due to cards. Basically we are going into the game with one midfielder only (Ozdoev).

I would keep Ozdoev and Otto, but as pash mentions Otto wants to return to Spain after this season. The front office/Lucescu should be working hard right now to start rebuilding the team for the next season.

Not a blunder at all. Had he stayed at PAOK he would hardly get any playing time. And if he did by any chance and scored the same goals as he did in Germany, the "Liverpools" of of the world would not offer more than 2-3 mil for the player. If we believe the rumors Nurenberg will pay the 18 mil option + the 2 mil option to get the 85% of the player, then PAOK stands to make somewhere between 23 to 25 mil. Also lets not forget that for Nurenberg to pay the option, the player has to agree to it. What's stopping PAOK and the player to agree and then sell him directly to Liverpool for 30 mil in the summer, taking the middleman out of the equation.
-
Important game. With a win we go to +9 points against them and the 5th place. With a loss they come close to us (+3 points) and we give them a chance to fight for the playoff spot. At a minimum we need at least a tie in this game.
-
That's why we got Thymianis for the midfield position. Did you see him get any playing time?

I agree that's what is missing but I never liked Siopis. On top he is not getting any younger. I am sure we can find a player of his style and much younger. We need a Vitolo type player at a decent age.

Rumors are that we were after Siopis and Pena to fill our midfield. Both players were approved by Lucescu. Apparently front office told the coach that Siopis will be pursued only if we unload some players (Bakayoko?). So far we ended with Pena. Remain to be seen if we can unload Bakayoko and go after Siopis.
-
Lucescu is our most successful coach ever, but that does not mean that he does not make mistakes. I blame him for two things. One is sticking with some players (Samatta, Murg, Schwab, etc.) giving them playing time when they fail to produce on constant basis. The other one is playing the same 4-2-3-1 formation, and making his subs at 60th and 80th minute no matter what. Way too predictable. The opposing coaches are not stupid. They know exactly what to expect and set up their game plan accordingly. For example in yesterday's game. Volos did hardly anything until the 80th minute. They just waited until we got tired which was given since 3 day ago our player had to spend a lot of energy for 120 minutes. When Volos scored the two goals our two midfielders could hardly walk. Specially Schwab. No wonder they got chances to score. We need to reset and salvage what we can out of this season starting with this Sunday's game. If we lose Sunday we will be in deep trouble, because after that we have important tough games every 3 days (Slavia, Levadeiakos, AEK). Our goals forwards should be 2nd place in SL and at least making the next round of Europa League.

Somebody needs to step in and shake things up.
-
And we still managed to lose ground on them.
-
And now 1:2
-
And there it is 1:1
-
We will be lucky if don't concede a goal. Very sloppy in the last few minutes.
-
Finally Camara 1:0
-
How much longer before 0:1 happens?
-
Changes need to be made at half time. Murg, Brandon, Vieirinha out.
-
Take Murg out. Useless!
-
Looks like the game is played in empty Toumba. Hardly any fans in the stands. It is snowing in Thessaloniki.
-
Wow, Vieirinha gets a start.
