Saw an article earlier on Lisci wanting a "smaller" striker, and a different post on instagram claiming Jeremejeff is on his way out (so we'd probably get two strikers). Guess we'll see. I like Jeremejeff but he hasn't impressed in preseason/these matches, for sure. Good for Mythou I guess. At least until he becomes a third stringer after we hire a pair of 45 year old forwards.

1-4 victory LET'S GOOOOO

I didn't put up with a decade of people the telling me the national team was s%$#! because defending is easy just to have a dweeb tell me it's actually harder and more impressive when it works against us!

Why would you ever give Michailidis the penalty?? Looks like the Mythou goal will be pulled back

Pretty crazy # for us to pay, if this happens...

Vieirinha is not gonna think with brain when it comes to his old teammates.

I'm also seeing that part of the terms include the teams playing a friendly?? Which side was desperate for that? Weird (but I don't hate it).

Couple of things: We have signed Adrian Caragea, a Romanian left winger who previously played for Dinamo Bucharest (FC Dinamo). His youth experience was mostly with Sassuolo in Italy. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adrian-caragea/profil/spieler/723836 There's also a rumor that we're signing this kid (a left winger) from Paraguay: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/axel-galeano/profil/spieler/1446733 I'm not really sure I follow the translation there - a buy option for 600k with bonuses bringing it up to a million? Which I guess implies that we're taking him on loan until 6/2027? -edit- I forgot to mention that the Caragea signing is for PAOK B! Transfermarkt also lists Galeano as a rumor for the B team, so it's possible both will head there.

Oh damn you ain't kiddin. What I'd give to hear Thomas' beautiful Greek get ruined by the Cypriot accent.

So odd that third qualifying round had scarier potential opponents than the PO

I bow before your analysis, m'lord!

Looks like Lyratzis will be moving to Atromitos. I'd imagine this will be a free transfer of some sort. Seems terms with William Mikelbrencis have allegedly been agreed and he is expected in Thessaloniki in a few days.

Sounds like Anderlecht has some injury issues too. They all seem pretty severe (broken/fractured bones, muscle tears). So I would doubt they'd show up in the second leg as well. Two of their three RBs are out (though Maamar - who played vs Hammarby and got an assist) should be available. One of their CBs is out, as is one of their two DMs. Could mean nothing for us but who knows, maybe we can capitalize on it. They're also linked with a new DM who could potentially be signed soon but unlikely he'd make the first game at this point.

Saw a claim on a fan page earlier that Lisci wants to keep Gomez on the team this season. That of course puts us in a bit of a pickle, since we have three (soon to be four) left backs. Gomez Taylor Baba Giannoulis Now...Taylor seems to be gone, which is fine by me. My hope is that Baba fails to impress and we finally release him. However, is there a chance we go into the season with three guys there? Would Lisci's preferred 3-man back line formation imply a higher utilization of these wingbacks? I think all three of those guys would actually be well suited to that formation.

I'm fine with that. Too slow. He'll rehab and then we loan him out to some team in Malta or something in late January, paying half his wages. Hopefully we'll hear more on Ali's situation soon.

I love it. I have really, really high hopes for Shoretire. I like the kid!

Whoa...a good age and I notice OG Nice plays a similar formation to what Lisci prefers. The transformation continues, huh? His contract is up in a year which may explain the (comparatively) big discount.

I forgive you. Was just wondering if it was just me that thought Michailidis' passing has greatly improved this season.

Now you know we're big time! Gomez brought up in this press conference moments ago, in fact. "He's doing better, but we have to keep calm with him."

Baba as LW is hilarious. You'd think Gomez would be better up there!

Loser's mentality, we're here to win boyo

Every goal he scored increases his market value by a million

I think I heard the guy say three yellows

Gorgeous goal

Koulierakis sold to Roma for 15mm - only relevant to this thread because I believe we have a resale percentage for him? A shame it's such a firesale.
