Good numbers only count when they're for other players. Klaus' success is only a sign of politics.
-
Why would you play Torosidis and Holebas on their opposite sides?
-
Wasn't our deduction of points in the playoffs from two years ago from the exact same thing? Cup crowd troubles?
-
Here's the press conference. Ivic starts about 30 minutes in. I'm just starting it now, but can note that the second question posed to Ivic was about whether or not he knows why the team can't go more than a few days without injuries. He says he thinks he knows the reason... Doesn't seem to imply that it's the pitch at the training center (else he would have just said it). -edit- ends pretty quickly too, not much of interest
-
Kace was to me the most droppable of the starting 11. But, you don't need much quality to beat Kalloni.
-
NEARLY a second goal by Klaus, chip went just a little too high. That's game, 3-0
-
Malezas coming on for Leovac (who had a very good game). Tzavellas probably moving to LB.
-
GOAL Korovesis! Rodrigues skirted it along the front line, not sure if Klaus got a touch on it. 3-0
-
Took Rodrigues all of 25 seconds to set up a great counterattack, nutmeg some mofos, and for Korovesis to nearly score. Good to see him back.
-
Mistakidis pulled up short on the same knee he hit earlier. Looks like he's getting subbed - hopefully he doesn't miss too many games. Good time to put in Rodrigues...
-
I wish this site let me downvote posts, you'd be in real s%$#!.

Wonderful goal by Klaus, great play by Leovac and Pelkas to set him up. 2-0 Korovesis getting ready to come on. Not sure if as a winger or a fullback.
-
Kace has been rather poor today. I'd take him out and put in Rodrigues...move Charisis back into DM, Pelkas back to center, and Rodrigues on the wing. Tziolis has been passing pretty well.
-
AEK lost vs Panaitolikos today, 0-1. A win for us vs Kalloni will bring our points difference to 9.
-
Tziolis began the play, saved the ball after a bad attempt, passed to Charisis to then got the assist.
-
GOAL MISTAKIDIS!!!!
-
Kalloni's goalkeeper thinks he's Neuer. I'm pretty pissed we didn't capitalize on that just now.

It's a true story, Amorgiggles.

That's awesome. I once accidentally destroyed an escalator in K?ln by jamming a shoe into it. Would you mind sending my regrets? I can't remember which store it was, and I think I did it in 1996, so it might take a while to find the right one.

You know what would help with proof? Actually investigating the allegations, my potassium-enriched friend

They're both just blogs. The article is quoted verbatim here - http://www.nst.com.my/news/2016/03/131237/leave-my-son-out-match-fixing-talk-father-new-uefa-general-secretary Note it is attributed to the AFP (the Paris-based international news agency) on both pages. Also - what is there about it that is not credible? Is the son of an Olympiakos vice president not UEFA's interim general secretary? Is Marinakis not under investigation? Or do you just find Savvas' reported comments to be unreliable?
-
Two English-language articles about Oly/FIFA. Didn't think I'd ever see even this much coverage: http://seriouslysoccer.com/2016/03/leave-my-son-out-of-olympiacos-match-fixing-talk-says-father-of-new-uefa-chief/ <-- about little Theodoridis http://www.insideworldfootball.com/2016/03/02/matt-scott-uefa-s-oversight-on-olympiacos-has-opened-dangerous-ground/ <-- a much more interesting article about Olympiakos not being subject to reasonable scrutiny by UEFA. Goes into Marinakis' "System." I didn't watch the Anderlecht game; was it as bad as he says?

And as for everyone's favorite CB - http://www.sport24.gr/football/omades/Paok/vitor-thelw-na-meinw-ston-paok.3963795.html I'd definitely try to sign him again. Especially since I am sure that we aren't going to make any other moves as far as CBs are concerned. PAOK only operates with the bare minimum of players in positions we need filled, after all.

Here's a couple of doozies, as far as coaches go: http://www.sport-fm.gr/article/podosfairo/protathike-o-ntel-mposke-ston-paok/3151701 <-- del Bosque (HAHAHA!). The article itself, I should note, is pretty skeptical http://www.gazzetta.gr/football/article/894230/o-paok-vlepei-gia-konseisao <-- Conceicao - this would be a surprise to me. Anyone pay attention to any of the teams he's coached?
