Prijovic coming on for Biseswar

Get the new guy in dammit

Shakhov off for Charisis

Goal Shakhov!?!?

Brkic is clearly very rusty, second mistake that nearly leads to a goal...

GOAL BISESWAR

GOAL DELIGIANNIDIS!

Close attempt by Koulouris, a chip shot that went a bit too high

he very nearly scored just now as well.

Shakhov's the next Jairo, at least in terms of getting carded

Canas, btw, has quite possibly the most piercingly shrill voice I've ever heard. Even worse in the training/backstage videos.

Here's the final lineup: --Brkic-- --Deligiannidis--Varela--Malezas--Kitsiou-- --Shakhov--Canas-- --Pereyra--Biseswar--Mistakidis-- --Koulouris--

I would imagine the vast majority of the funds come from the EL and tv rights. Ticket sales are negligible - if you take wiki as a rough estimate (currently at 81k), and assume an average ticket price of 10 euros, you get to cover just Campos' yearly salary. I could be way off on the price, but I can't see them significantly more profitable.

I read a few days ago that the club's expenses this year are massively increased, to the point where the cash we made from transfers is only covering like half of it. This is yet another reason why we aren't/won't be throwing 4mm down on a player. A lot of these expenses are related to infrastructure improvements, however. Surely at least some of those are what resulted in our team being MUCH less injury-prone than before. Frankly, I think the higher wage bill shows in how much better the team has been playing; only question is whether or not this style of play will continue.

I agree, it's too bad this didn't work out. RB seems to be the one position where Ivic most trusts his former youth players. Four dudes is one too many. Some progress on the Henrique front - Rennes has agreed with their own replacement target (who's currently playing in the Africa Cup of Nations). They should announce soon, which will let us move forward. Reportedly we've agreed on 1.4mm to Rennes + 800k a year to Henrique.

Is their field a mess after that water polo match we had?

But this could still screw with us next round, correct?

Malezas, Mistakidis, Crespo, Campos, and Matos are all on three yellow cards. Going to have to be careful in player selection...or maybe creative in when we choose to foul a little too hard.

Careful what you post here, you might get a visit from their prez

Sounds like Liberec's coach knew our team better than we did.

Surely we'll see some serious rotation here. I can't see us losing this match, even with a team that has never played together before. I think Leovac and Cimirot will need to be rested, at the very least. --Brkic-- --Kitsiou--Crespo--Malezas--Deligiannidis-- --Shakhov--Pelkas--Kace-- --Mistakidis--Koulouris--Pereyra-- Wouldn't be surprised to see our new CF make an appearance as a late sub in this match.

Warda's also been given the #7. I would have thought that would go to Rodrigues' replacement, but at least it goes to a winger this time.

San Jose still has a team?!

If we start with the same core next season, and win the playoffs this season, getting through at least one round of CL qualification is definitely possible. We just need to pray for the team to not implode over the next two or three months. We're almost at that time of year again after all.

Dropping like flies These guys are so afraid of Klaus that they would rather hurt themselves than go up against him.
