What's funny is I was driving home from the gym just now, listening to Metropolis, and the guy was going on and on and on about how many layers you need to wear, what kind of socks are appropriate, etc etc. Meanwhile, it's almost exactly the same temperature here (with our first "snow emergency" of the year just beginning), and I'm just wondering if I need to bother wearing a winter jacket when I walk over to the bars in a few hours. I bet Blackhawk's house is already encased in ice.

I also read he's a priority of Alanyaspor (maybe loan? I don't see how they could afford him). I still think if we have the chance to grab him, we should. Would instantly make us look so much better at LW.

An additional three points could make a big difference at the end of the season. Let's circle back around after the playoffs to see its effect - the loser obviously buys the winner bougatsa and/or retsina. Agreed as to who wins the league, however.

Turkish reports are saying that the deal is done, PAOK gets 3.5mm out of it (again, this is almost certainly not inclusive of the fee that will be paid to that third party). Thiam will be taking a medical exam in anticipation of a loan to Empoli. Seems we also are close to this Ndoye guy.

Transfer windows are so fun. We reportedly offered 1mm EUR for Leonardo, which was rejected. I read that his contract's buyout clause is 2.5mm, although Partizan's TD is demanding much more. Not sure how that could work out, a clause is a clause (as we're sadly learning).

Campos and Brkic did not train today due to a viral infection, although Pereyra is back in action as of earlier this week. Hopefully Campos recovers quickly, winning this match will give us some breathing room.

Panionios-Giannina just ended with a 1-1 draw. Great result for us. Also, Jairo was a starter on Giannina's side. Good to see that he's finally getting minutes. Also, as was noted elsewhere, AEK drew 0-0 vs Panaitolikos yesterday.

Leonardo's highlight videos, btw, show him playing centrally at least some of the time. He might actually be considered as the backup to Biseswar. And of course the rumors of Stoch never go away. Another rumored player: Javier Iritier (I can't find much info on this guy though):

Here's another name I just saw. Would be a like-for-like replacement for Rodrigues, at least.
