  1. So after having seen these two matches, I think some of our stronger players are becoming more obvious, and a lineup is shaking itself out. --Glykos-- --Matos--Crespo--Tzavellas--Leovac-- --Cimirot--Shakhov--Charisis-- --Rodrigues--Klaus--Pereyra-- Pelkas has been more impressive than Mistakidis so far, and Koulouris has also looked good (although Pelkas is more likely to unseat one of the wingers than Koulouris is to unseat Klaus). I'm still not sure who the best CB pairing will be, but Leovac is 100% going to be the starter, and Matos is overwhelmingly likely to walk in over Kitsiou. For once, it feels like we have actual depth. Apart from striker, we've got options at least two deep for each position. This feels weird.
  2. I agree with your point but I should note that when the cup came around, Gekas was in much better form than Mitroglou, who should not even have made the team.
  3. Not really a great game. Slow pace. I don't think Shakhov even played today - he's got a boo boo on his foot (hasn't trained for a few days)
  4. These Aryan children wearing the oversized PAOK shirts are absolutely adorable
  5. Crespo/Giannoulis/Korovesis/Jairo/Koulouris in for Tzavellas/Leovac/Cimirot/Jalma/Klaus
  6. Dokari by Jalma, nice play by Pelkas and Klaus to get him the ball
  7. Vellidis/Kitsiou/Malezas/Charisis/Pelkas have come in for Glykos/Matos/Pougouras/Tziolis/Mistakidis respectively.
  8. Not a very impressive first half. Wish we could get better camera angles on this, too.

  10. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that Tzavellas wins by making Koulouris run for an unlikely save.
  11. Watch out Pana - if you say his name three times he appears and then you're a target too :( :( :( :(

Doesn't invalidate my point. The only surprise here should be that he is surprised that he isn't given godlike control. Due diligence should be done on both sides (so, hopefully someone at Lazio feels some pain over this too).

Assuming he's leaving for what you're referring to - would it not have been more admirable to, oh, I don't know...not take the job in the first place?

For those who are still dreaming of sucking off Bielsa - he's left Lazio after TWO DAYS on the job. Unhinged.
  15. After watching the sideline camera with the replay of the goals...there wasn't a single goal that we scored, that even a 2nd-division club would have let through. So you're right on that front - this game really showed us nothing.
  16. I hadn't heard that, interesting. In other news, Savvidis has signed with Panionios (PAOK retains rights to 30% of his resale value), for two years. I believe they got him for free. Varela is no longer training due to what seems to be a somewhat serious injury (out for at least a month?). I can't see us continuing to pursue him now.
  17. Shakhov hurt his foot, did not train today. Now I know he's PAOK.
