I should be proud of those athletes who reached the finals in track events like Polyniki Emmanouilidou at the 200 meters. She tied two PBs at 11.21 at the 100 meters heats and semifinals and got a PB of 22.84 in the semifinals. She is the only track athlete who deserves a spot for Greece at the Summer Olympic Games.

Nikolaos Andrikopoulos will miss the European Championship after sustaining an injury.

This is going to be a tough competition for the Greek athletes, not seeing many medals here. Some of them are not perform as they would have liked. I can only see 3 medals from Drisbioti, Tentoglou, and Karalis.

If Tsitsipas would to have a shot at getting his first grand slam title, he will need to defeat an opponent he never won in 5 meetings, Carlos Alcaraz of Spain.

Watched the match at the Mirage Casino bar on Paramount Plus, I witnessed maybe the greatest match ever from Olympiakos in any European competition. That team looks ready to win it's first ever European football club title for Greece. Fiorentina doesn't scare me, they got very lucky to squeak out a draw with Club Brugge.

Refs were trying hard to give the match away to Aston Villa with that bogus penalty call. Karma came back for them. The job isn't done yet, Martinez will be back, but so will Masouras and Noti.

Getting goals past World Cup winner Emilio Martinez will be tricky. A draw would be ideal, an away win would be fantastic.

Sakkari lost to Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia at the Madrid Open round of 16 4-6, 4-6. This is the only player in her career that has yet to beat in her lifetime. 0-4 and counting.
