  1. The way Greece is playing in the first 15 minutes, I would not be surprised if Kosovo scores first.
  2. Don't expect Greece to draw or win at home to Spain either. Our expectations is running low.
  3. Sakkari looking very good in Flushing Meadows She sweeps Petra Kvitova 6-4, 6-3 She will face Canada's Bianca Andreescu next in the round of 16.
  4. Tsitsipas eliminated by a young Spaniard Alcaraz Garfia in 5 sets. 3-6, 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 6-0, 6-7 (5-7). Thanks to a meltdown in the 3rd set where Tsitsipas had a 5-2 lead and choked away. It's embarrassing how he never make it past the third round at the U.S. Open.
  5. This Spanish team just doesn't have that killer offense. Their defense isn't the same without Puyol and Ramos.
  6. Here is the standing right now Sweden 9 pts 3 g Spain 7 pts 4 g Kosovo 3 pts 3 g Greece 2 pts 2 g Georgia 1 pts 4 g
  7. Sweden is just a world class team, they are difficult to break down. Olsen is one of the best goalkeeper in the world.
  8. Kosovo win is a good one, right now 1-1 for Spain/Sweden, which is good, but a Spain victory would be ideal for us.
  9. Sakkari defeats Siniakova 6-3, 6-2 She will face another Czech player (either Kvitova or Pilskova (Kristyna, who is the younger sister of Karolina) in round three.
  10. Tsitsipas is getting booed in New York. Guess he is not so popular with the fans and the players over his lengthy restroom breaks. 😄 Keep on booing, that will light a fire in him.
  11. Greece lost to both Austria and Switzerland on their home soil when they have tied the game up. It's been a theme sometimes in those friendlies.
  12. Grammatikopoulou lost to Mertens 2-6, 2-6. It was a nice little run from the player of Kilkis in her very first grand slam finals.
  13. We all remember Greece first official loss to Sweden, it was hard to watch that match.
  14. Sakkari defeats Kostyuk, 6-4, 6-3 Excellent 2 days for the Greeks at Flushing Meadows. 🙂
  15. Grammatikopoulou magical run at the U.S. Open continues as she defeats Russia's Blinkova 6-3, 6-2.
  16. Tsitsipas beats Murray in 5 sets!!! Take that!!! Don't ever disrespect our Greek player like that!
  17. You got to play with who they got. Greece gotta have that "Next man up" mentality.
  18. This should have been the match Greece can afford a point, not against Georgia.
  19. How good is Grammatikopoulou? I wonder if this is the young prospect my lawyer was talking about?
