Reaper if PAO is fined for the midweek invasion then personally I wouldn't say much because they brought it upon themselves, that I agree with you!! As for MAT yes it was handball but AEK fans were fined for having trouble with MAT. Pretty sure we were also fined for it in basketball. Oh and pretty sure we were fined from memory last year or maybe the season before for fighting with MAT in football. But Oly which hasn't been mentioned in the papers at all will get away with it.

jvc try be in my place and have your team fall to 3rd division, it isn't pleasant at all. But I did say to many people few years back that we should drop to 3rd division because in the end another 2 years of misery wasn't going to hurt us after the misery we have been through all these years... I believe in short term pain long term gain and it seems it is happening in a good way for us now. People laughed at AEK for these so-called presidents like Psomiadis, Adamidis etc who were at AEK did under the table deals stole money and damaged AEK. First instead of people bagging AEk and the presidents they had, one should ask who put them their in the 1st place, but that's another different story altogether, but just an example of what we AEK fans have suffered at the hands of others. We must get someone otherwise we are going to struggle in that front 3rd, yes we will get goals along the way but the weekend's game should have showed them we lack that killer edge in the box.... The league is already unwatchable mate from the way it has become. I agree with what you are saying about having a strong 4 competing for the league but that wont be happening anytime soon when you have people in EPO favouring one side and the rest and also when that prick Theodoridis has so much power in UEFA. I will give you an example, on the weekend Oly fans scuffled/brawled with MAT at OAKA, will they be fined for that? Highly doubt it, but if it was AEK or PAO we would be fined and possibly docked points. The Greek League and especially EPO needs a massive cleanout for the league to progress and go anywhere and that will take a while before any of that happens, people would rather fill their pockets than have a league for us and the rest of Europe to be proud of. Currently and most may not agree with me but the Cyprient league is better than the Super League and that's a big slap in the face to us all as fans. AEK has finally go their act together and have the club running in a good direction but still things get in the way and try bring AEK down with petty sh*t. PAOK also is heading in the right direction and their TD is very good, they just need a bit better of a squad than what they currently have and this TD could be the one to do that for them. As for Asteras, they may not have massive funds or huge fan base but they do have a decent side, they may not progress from their group in EL but these days not many Greek teams do progress..... On a slightly different note, does anyone else find it funny that Ranieri couldn't beat Faroe Islands yet in the EPL hasn't lost a game with Leicester? Some may laugh but Faroe paying $25 for the win, wouldn't surprise me if the game was sold so people could cash in.....

I read an article that said ELITE welcomes AEK, anyhow we are obviously aligned with them in some way but obviously not active to have investors as yet. Either way after these 2 years of showing profit and actually being on there and having investors our budget could grow to huge numbers from what I have been told. He took a big risk leaving CL football and coming to us in 2nd division at his age but he has been brilliant for us and he will continue to get better and lead this team around the park as he has been doing....

Credit to them reaper, they had a plan and went about it in style and got what they wanted. We laugh when Chelsea park the bus and they have million dollar names to their roster, teams like Xanthi can do this as they don't have the million dollar names. Just a shame on our part we didn't get the 3 points but in the end a point away from home isn't the worst thing either as it isn't easy playing up there

jvc no offence mate but the history PAO had in Europe is great but that's like hearing a Livo fan tell me how good they were in Europe which doesn't mean much nowadays. Asteras has been in Europe and done pretty well for themselves, Pao hasn't gone much further than them in Europe so either way whether its PAO or Asteras in Europe we are getting the same results. You guys couldn't get past the worst ranked team in Europe last week how can you actually bag Asteras now?

PAOK so far have been terrible and they have always struggled against PAS, but credit to PAS great result for them.

Doxa we were promised this money by govt when our stadium was demolished and Meli had the balls to go face them and ask for it, something none of our past presidents would do. Its simple don't make promises that cant be kept.

As for Meli and pumping money, we cant do this as we need to show profit for the first 2 years due to us being on the London Stock Exchange. Once those 2 years go by and with investors on the stock exchange our budget will rise dramatically. Ethnikos just because we have a rich owner doesn't mean he is pumping money into us yet. He just knows what is needed for a club to succeed that's why AEK is on such a good path nowadays.. I agree with what Asteras said above, need common sense and knowledge for a club to be run properly.

No news yet and with the elections coming up it will only delay it further. We are obviously $20 mill short due to the current govt blocking us the money we were promised, great country they don't want jobs being created by the looks of it. He wanted Peter Lim to jump on board also but it seems he wants to take over AEK completely and Meli is reluctant to do that. Meli isn't the type to throw money all over the place, he didn't do it in the past and he wont do it now. He knows football very well. The players we have brought in aren't terrible either they have blended well and with consistency they can achieve anything. Once we get back into Europe I would expect him to spend money then that's for sure.... His concern is the stadium, he is putting $20 mill of his own in for it but still looking for another $20mill since the mounia in govt wont give us the money we were promised. Typical malakes in Greece, they'd rather sell out their nation than create jobs for people...
