ELLAS75 I agree with you mate and I can happily and openly admit one of my favourite players for the Greek team was Torosidis and he is Oly, when it comes to the NT no one should be treated or looked at differently. But as you said no one is scoring, Mitroglou was on fire and many may not agree with me but his sale to Fulham ruined him, he was one of the hottest strikers going around at the time and he would've done more at the WC for Greece but sadly as I said that sale killed him off.... I know people will say he was injured but before he left Oly he was destroying defenders club & national level, another reason why Oly failed to progress in CL, he would've made a difference against United also.

Makynia if you count Dellas then you would have to count Demi too even though he was at Atletico Madrid. But I wouldn't count them as they weren't on our payroll. But you are right we need a good mix of players from all teams not the usual old favourites and old timers. Greece needs to stop being loyal to a player who for instance "scored a goal to get us to the world cup" and have players on the roster who can get the job done. I have seen in at all these last few Euros I have been to players making scenes because things don't go their way, o rothers fighting with others because of the club team they play for. If Barca & Madrid players can put their differences aside when playing for their nation, then I am sure these Greek players can do the same.

Iv been to a few Euros and World Cups the Greek fans are up there with the best, in Poland we were voted best fans by the Polish. The opening game there was only 2,500 of us and we made more noise the whole game than the 55,000 poles. But with comments like the above it shows why other nations laugh at us as we aren't united, if ALL Greek fans put their club differences aside we would be one of the most feared Nation fan bases in Europe, but we prefer to hate on each other because of the club teams we follow....

That attitude of "no one gives a F*** about the NT" makes me laugh, its actually quite sad, I bet those that say that are the first ones to celebrate when they win in a Euro or WC. The vazelia had the most players in the 2004 team, saying "the vazelia destroyed it" just shows pure hate nothing more. It was a risk from the start, didn't expect ANY AEK fan to take him back with open arms, same as if that m**** Manolas came back, he wouldn't get anything from AEK fans. He wont start many games once the season starts, he has shown twice now he is a liability (kicking out and now missing training)

Triggering the clause doesn't always mean they have to go to the club that triggered it. Many teams in Europe have triggered players clauses and the deal hasn't gone through But you are right we need to re-sign him now because in a year or 2 he could be worth a whole lot more if he continues this great form he has shown

If Oly were to be banned from Europe it would've happened already, so don't hold hope of anything changing now. One thing I can say though is after his latest accusations found him guilty even though the punishment was a F***en joke as he is still involved in football is that he has put a shadow over ALL their titles won under him, only a one eyed gavro wouldn't admit to that. As for the accusations against Marinakis now, we all know he isn't a saint but each time he goes to a Prosecutor he walks away hardly untouched, don't expect much to change if he attends another accusation against him. Our people in courts have no balls, they cant even lock up those that ruined Greece as if they are going to make Marinakis an example, hope I am wrong and they throw the book at him, but don't hold much hope of it.

Our govt cant even get running a nation right their last concern is Greek football. But in saying that if our govt wanted to make a stand and show they want to do well for the Greek people they would do what is needed and clean up the league from all this vromia as a start. EPO are puppets they wont go against those who have put them there.

K.Pap is very injury prone and so is Manolas. These guys have a chance to receive a call up their form can't be ignored if they are doing well in the League.

They both had good games, this is why in the line ups post im in too minds on who will start. These two are great CB but Arzo does have the leadership qualities we need. Was there a reason why Arzo didn't start?

Meli has stayed quiet about it all and done things behind the scenes, now whether it changes anything we shall see in time. Alafouzos on the other hand has been pumping it through media outlets and not much as come of it. Syriza promised so much to stop the corruption but again their promises were just about as good as their other promises, all bark no bite. Hopefully they have another election and get voted out.... But hopefully this season is better than the last few we have seen, honestly don't know how Oly fans can run around and parade their success when its overshadowed in controversy. To say he isn't a good player is wrong, I like him, he did well in the EPL with a struggling side, just seems to me he was a last resort signing they could get with everyone else who said no to them. If I was an Oly fan after all the promises fatboy has made I wouldn't be happy with him only considering the money they have.
