He is looking way better than last season I agree with that, a pre season does a world of difference and his finishing is pretty good in all honesty but I think Djebbour will get the nod ahead of him for now only because of experience and the fact he knows the SL.

Hoping a striker though who can bang in goals, I have said for a long time we need a berg like striker. Djebbour and Christantus just aren't enough and Aravidis is good but we need more options. My other concern is we need Mandalos to come back bigger than he was, but an ACL is never an injury to recover form, look no further than Falcao as example, although he was rushed back for world cup last year. We surely have a squad good enough for top 5, anything higher than that is a bonus.

Meli wont spend this season we need to show a profit for the 1st year as part of us being on the London stock exchange. If we make Europe then he will spend and bring a few bigger players in but he has always said priority for him is the stadium and for that he is putting money of his own in, $10 mill if I am not mistaken. The Hafez situation seems odd but with all the sh*t behind it glad we didn't sign him it would only cause issues and we don't need that sh*t. Some surprise results over night which should give PAO players more confidence Just don't want to conceed early as they will lift and run riot. As for the comment of why is he asking for funding, when our stadium got demolished in 2003, the govt then had promised us money to re-build it, this is why he is going for that money, you don't say things as a govt then expect people to forget it.

We have had delay upon also by the Mayor (wanker) and the people of Syriza who have given us obstacle after obstacle surely you have seen that haven't you? We also had to get approval for extra land that we required for it also. If the govt didn't make it difficult for us each time the stadium would be upon its way to being ready, but because there we people who don't want this to happen they make it harder and harder for AEK. It's not far away from getting all the approvals required because in the end the land belongs to AEK and no one can stop them from building there.
