    Transfers

Saw that, he seems ok, will be a good backup. Coach Sakota and Aggelopoulos are in America scouting the NBA summer league for a point guard and Center, they saw Scottie Wilebekin again last night and he's better than he was for us last season and they are trying to bring him back, would be a massive signing! The goal this year is to advance to the next round of the Eurocup and to finish third in the league, we need some big signings to achieve these goals.
  5. This is what happens when you only sign three players, and two aren't starting and the other is average at best. You'll probably still advance to the next round but after that... It'll be hard unless you sign players... Me tziolis kai tzavellas den pas pouthena...
  6. Alen Baroja will most likely be our next goalkeeper. He said that he's agreed to a deal with AEK and is coming soon, he's 25 years old and was the starting Goalkeeper for Venezuela in the Copa America. He's a gamble, he's never played in Europe before, I can't say I'm happy with this transfer and I see Anestis taking over the starting spot in October... Hope I'm wrong. The Giovanni situation is a mess right now, i don't what's going on but we should look at other options that are just as good as him. He's 26, if he doesn't leave Brazil now he never will, his career won't be advanced by staying at Flouminese for 3 more years... Still no word on the extrem, need to get him signed within the next week along with the left back and Baroja. Reports from Venezuela and AEK365.gr say that Baroja is on a one year loan with an option to buy. For a goalkeeper that doesn't seem that good this makes the deal better for us, but I'm disappointed we didn't sign a more solid keeper that will steal us some games. The reports also say he might leave for Athens tonight.
  7. How stupid are Manchester city?
  8. Hopefully by Monday
  9. I apologize, it was a long night and my iPhone kept autocorrecting everything. Giovanni's father said his son is joining AEK. His father came to Athens last week and met with Milovanovic and Aslanidis and was impressed. He also confirmed a rumor that Flouminese had Ronaldinho call Giovanni and attempt to convince him to stay.
  10. Samaras' career is over, dead, buried, he's playing in the Middle East, he's s%$#!.
  11. Out of all those demands tha parei to trito to makritero... Ta a*****a tou tha parei. Ive grown to accept that we are gonna be using the drachma after today, I'm just mad at the shitty timing since I'm in Greece right now.
  12. How did you get that analysis from that article... It didn't say anywhere in that article that the deal was approved...
  13. Giovanni's father, who was in Athens this past week meeting with Milovanovic and Aslanidis, came out and said his son is joking AEK and he confirmed the rumors that Flouminese had Ronaldinho call Giovanni and try to convince him to stay.
  14. Torosidis at DM would help this team for sure, but who would take his spot at RB? Skondras I'm guessing, but I haven't seen him play much, how good is he?
  15. Tourism crashed this year because of all this s%$#! recently, record number of cancellations in many areas. It was projected to be up 15% from last year but it's gonna be way down when it's all said and done.
  16. Flouminese is doing whatever they can to cancel the deal, but we offered to pay Giovanni's release clause and we've agreed to terms with him, only he can cancel it and PAE isn't worried, they expect that he will be in Greece Thursday (or Friday, I'm not sure if they mean he's leaving Brazil Thursday or getting to Greece Thursday). Unfortunately, Ronaldinho signing with Flouminese has made it harder for Giovanni to make up his mind, someone should tell him that he would have the chance to play with Chrisantus and Platellas...
  17. Is Schauble serious with that offer? He deserves to be dead, PAOK fans were right the other day with banner.
  18. 62% of Greeks voted against austerity, and what does Tsipras do? He comes back with even more harsh austerity measures. He lost a lot of support last night from the Greek people and in his own party. Because only 145 Syriza/Anel delegates voted for it they NEED to have elections or make serious changes to the government because they lost the majority.
  19. I think elections are looming... Too many people from Syriza voted no, unless they leave themselves or Tsipras kicks them out the government will fall. 15 other Syriza members voted yes just so the government doesn't fall, they really wanted to vote No. I hope we don't need to have elections
  20. They are extremely split... the extreme left part of Syriza which is basically lead by Lazafanis came out said they are voting No live on TV. The more moderates lead by Tsipras are voting Yes. KKE and GD are also voting no. ND, Pasok, To Potami, and half of Syriza are voting yes, it should be enough to pass but it will be very close.
  21. Syriza is split on the deal and many of them are voting against the proposal later on tonight, I'm not even sure this will pass through the Vouli with these clowns in charge...
