We've resigned Malik Hairston for two years. Athineou left and signed with Olympiakos. We've signed a lot of young players from Greece, today we signed Dimitris Moraitis who is a 16 year old guard that had offers from Panathinaikos, Olympiakos, and Real Madrid. Sakota is America right now scouting the NBA Summer league for a starting Point Guard and a starting Center. To replace Karl English we've signed Marc Antonio Carter who was a solid Shooting Guard for PAOK last year. The Center and Point Guard from America need to be players that are a class above the rest in order to have a chance to advance in the Europcup, we will have a good roster like last season but the difference is that this year we will be a team not rely solely on individual talent. I really like how we've signed 3 or 4 young Greek talents to develop, we need to build for the future and keep a core in place.

He's not that good, was once considered one of the best talents in the world but one day when he was driving he got into a serious accident leaving him out injured for about a year and his good friend was killed in the accident, he's never recovered since. I hope we don't get him.

I'm note a hateful kind of guy but this F***er deserves to be paralyzed.

So all you anti austerity people know, this proposed deal is much much much much worse on the people. This time it is actually 23% VAT on everything and not 13% VAT like it was before. Keep that in mind before you start praising Tsipras.

Giovanni is officially an AEK player, waiting for him to arrive in Athens to be announced.
-
I've never seen him play so I can't comment on whether he's worth it or not. But i do know that Melissanidis is cheap, and he wouldn't spend this much on a player unless he was really worth it, I trust their judgement.
-
Giovanni's manager and his father coming to Athens tonight to finish the deal, rumors are we offered 1 million euros to his team for him, trela lefta for a left back.

I would have taken a bag of basketballs in exchange for Gerald Wallace, David Lee for Gerald Wallace is a GREAT trade for us I think!

Don't forget Russia

I hope and pray for the good of my country that Tsipras and Varoufakis prove me wrong and get a better deal but I'm really not convinced they can... Time will tell, the next 48 hours are crucial, please prove me wrong Tsipras.

Anyone wanna tell me how this is a win for greece??? Because we still have NO money at all coming, and banks will remained CLOSED. It's hilarious how some of you think the banks will be opened this week and the capital control will be lifted when the country has no cash lol

These aren't official results but looks like No will win... Your move Alexi, you got what you wanted now let's see what you do with it

Sarris, Dounis, Rovas, and Karagiolidis have been told to not come to our first practice tomorrow and to find a new team. Fage, Grontis, Zoric, and Petravakis will practice and fight for a spot and if they can't prove that they are good enough will be loaned out. Georgeas is deciding whether or not to retire. Chrisantus and Brecevic are both practicing with the team but it's not certain which one of the two are staying for the new season, they will battle out for the 3rd string striker spot and I prefer Chrisantus.

Looking more into this guy and I don't think he's that good, I would hope we look into other options, Markos Vellidis from Pas Giannina should be looked into as he's a very good goalkeeper IMO and one of the few Greeks that could start for this AEK going for a protathlima.
-
According to reports in Venezuela we've signed Alain Baroja from Caracas, he was the starting goalkeeper for Venezuela in the Copa America. But according to Greek reports we are looking at other options as well and Baroja is stand by as a plan B, whenever we want we can announce him officially.

Denied by the same government that said the banks won't close and capital controls wouldn't be imposed, how can any of you believe what they say anymore?

We have Gerald Wallace coming off the books next summer, Amir Johnsom coming off the books, Jonas Jerebko coming off the books, a huge $20 million dollar spike in salary cap, and maybe a few other players with expiring deals. We could be looking at $40-45 million in cap space next summer, possible move for Kevin Durant hahaha? But honestly, we need to trade away some guards and get some scoring help, other than Thomas this team has nobody that can consistently score over 15 points per game. I'm also interested to see how James Young will do this season. He put on about 20 pounds of muscle this offseason, gotten a lot quicker, and has matured greatly. He showed his potential in the D League and glimpses in his limited NBA time. I hope he can break out for us this year, still only 19 years old.

My understanding of how the vote will play out is that the majority of people over 35 will be voting yes because they remember how Greece was pre Euro. The majority of the "youth" will vote No because either way they are screwed since they have nothing, and also most of them have grown up while Greece was in the Euro so they don't know what Greece was like before then. I don't think many of them would have lasted very long in the pre euro Greece but that's besides the point...

http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/9963b74c-219c-11e5-aa5a-398b2169cf79.html#axzz3etEfrU9j Well well well... 30% "haircut" or "tax" on all bank accounts of 8,000 euros or higher might be imposed... If this happens I'm sure Tsipras will be blaming the big bad Europeans. On the other hand, I don't think there are many accounts with that much money in them. The interesting part of the article is that Greece will run out of cash for ATMs by the middle of next week. Mia xara ta pame Alexi!

Vargas officially announced for two years, Andreopoulos officially announced for three years.
-
I don't think some of you have read the austerity measures that were offered, theh were officially released by Europe, they aren't harsh at all and reasonae. Tsipras is a lying sack of s%$#! and told the people that Europe wanted a 23% VAT when it was actually 13% VAT, all this to help his cause.
-
Vargas is in Greece right now to take a medical and sign with us.

Apollon should be promoted right away since they finished third in the second division playoffs, they offer more to the league than Levadiakos.
