Any updates??

We've agreed to terms for a loan deal with Louka, all that's left is to figure out the option to buy at the end of the year. We offered 1.5 million, his team wants to 2.5 million. I think we will find a middle ground at 2 million.

Game 3 right after the International break he should be ready to play, he's been practicing with the team for a while now but they don't want to rush him back.

If he can rediscover half of the skill he had before the car accident then we will have signed one of the best players in Greece, it's a big IF though. We are also making offers for Louka, if we get him we will have so much depth on the roster.

We have to let him go if any team offers 1.5 million, thats why we need to resign him to a 5 year contract with a high release clause.

Lol it's one player named Loukas Mavrokefalidis and he's a very good player from Panathinaikos. Diplaros was signed but cut because he made disrespectful comments about our team...

I haven't read any numbers for our new signings yet, the only thing reported is that we haven't given anyone over 350,000 euros except Buonannotte who will get 500,000 if he signs. Petravakis signing for Aris most likely, it's a shame as I really believed in him but I guess having 3 left backs seemed excessive to management. I wish him the best in his career and thank him for his service.

Buonannotte Mantalos Vargas on the same team will be fun to watch, if we sign Louka then our attack will be one of the best in the league.

He's a Better player than Hafez, and a safer option than Giovanni. Solid signing but I would have preferred if he was signed before the pre season training in Poland. Now sign Buonannotte or a better winger and we are set.

Why get Stafylidis when we just signed Hafez?

Did you just call a 25 year old an up and coming player............ Fortounis is 3 times the player Kaltsas is, there's a reason why he was at Veria until he was 25 years old! He's a solid player yes but he's no Fortounis.

I agree, I'm expecting them to make some good signings for PG and C soon tho. This year we actually have a plan in place for the future unlike last season where we signed the best available players in an attempt to get back into Europe. So far I think this team is worse than last year...

The stadium was held up by Athens red tape and people trying to delay it, mainly Syriza.

I hear that Johanson is drawing interest from Turkish and Dutch teams, I wouldn't sell him for less than 3-4 million, he's too important to us. Even tho he's not worth that much yet.

Djalma is a winger,mans idk how good he is. I would rather we go after a different player than get a 28 year old on loan. I want Stafylidis, loan with a resonable option to buy clause would be ideal and our defense would be complete.

Martinez who chose Olympiakos over AEK this summer was cut by Silva and will be loaned out. What a vlaka that guy is, can't he see that most of the players they get from in Greece get loaned out and he'll never play? Vargas is better anyways.

Lol, posting after a night out, classic. So I guess I was trying to say that we will finishing 3rd in the regular season, and then win the playoffs and at champions league qualifiers. We have great depth and less games than our competition so we are in good shape. We will make two more signings at least, and they can possibly put the team to another level and make us a serious league contender.

I think this team will finish between 3rd after the regular season, and make sure he wlne then wins the playoffs to qualify for the champions league qualifiers.!the two or three signings we WILL make us will make is the facorites to win the super league.

I saw a topic like this in the PAO forum and thought it was a good idea so I stole it lol. What do you guys think should be our starting 11 this year and what formation? We have a lot of depth so I believe we can play with a few different formations. The first formation is the 4-2-3-1 which Dellas seems to prefer, with our roster as is if start: Baroja Bakakis Arzo Kolovetsios Soiledis Johanson Simoes Aravidis Mantalos Vargas Djebour This is the normal formation the Dellas likes to use but with the lack of wingers we should look to try something new until we sign someone. In any of the formations I offer we can't go wrong with Galo or Bakakis as they are both great right backs. Second formation is the 4-3-3 which Dellas has been trying in practice: Baroja Galo Arzo Kolovetsios Soiledis Simoes Johanson Cordero Aravidis Djebour Mantalos I'm not sure how well Mantalos would do on the wing but that 3 man midfield would be a joy to watch when they are all on form. And the third formation is something that Dellas hasn't tested in practice but I think would work well for us is a 4-1-2-1-2 or a 4-4-2 with a "romvo" in the middle: Baroja Bakakis Arzo Kolovetsios Soiledis Johanson Simoes Cordero Mantalos Aravidis Djebour I think this would work out great for us as we have great central midfielders but very few wingers. A goal scoring striker like Djebour that doesn't have the legs anymore to pressure the opponent for 90 minutes would benefit greatly by playing next to a workhorse like Aravidis, they'd cause a lot of issues for any defense. For this formation the two wing backs would need to be able deliver in great crosses so maybe Galo gets the nod over Bakakis in this formation.

Giovanni probably tore an ACL today, forget about him. Samaras is not any better than Barbosa or Platellas, makria apo tin AEK. We need to sign a starting calibre left back and an extrem that would make the difference and add another dimension to the team, so far we have no one that can beat a defender on the dribble, just a bunch of players that are great passers of the ball. Vellios signed for Iraklis, forget about him.
