  1. Athinaios, it has always struck me as pretty silly that everyone seems to give Sweden the benefit of the doubt when they do dumb things. The Swedes decide to not address this virus, and everyone thinks they're just data-driven intellectuals. It's almost as if they're as fallible as us mortals, who'd'a thunk it? I am hopeful that we won't see a second wave here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we do. My state's manged an under-2% 7-day average of infections for a while now, but it remains to be seen how this works as more businesses reopen and schools start up in the fall (we all know children are filthy). I'm in grad school and it was announced that professors would have the option to do 100% of their classes online (and people who are on campus must wear a mask *at all times*). Molon Lave, allow me to be the first to wave the flag of New England at you as you enter: Though we're so fractious that we can't even agree on one flag:

  2. Your question deserves an answer. You would still be playing in the first division since there’s nothing in the past to suggest that PAOK would be relegated. I might be mistaken but while your team does get punished with point deductions there have been instances where they’ve been helped to avoid worse case scenarios and I’ll leave it at that. As for the Garcia transfer perhaps you should wait before criticizing since Aris are still restricted by the ban which means transfers are a no-no and they cannot take players on loan either. Worry about PAOK for the time being and rest assured that as long as Karipidis remains the man in charge for our team you will have plenty of opportunities to ridicule us. Best of luck in your fight for second place.

  3. I think there is more to this than the coaching of Abel Ferreira. In my opinion, the whole PAOK/Xanthi fake issue created by the fat pig/ND government and their goal to relegate PAOK and chase Ivan out of the country had a major part in our current situation. Taking the player's side for example. Once the relegation talks started I am pretty sure the various agents had talks with their players concerning their future on the team. I am sure some of them already made plans about their future, and are making sure not to get injured in order not to jeopardize those plans. The other thing that stands out is the lack of response by the front office. It's like they threw in the towel.

  4. We have something to compare now.... Sweden, which has had a very lax COVID19 response... So, you'd think its economy did much better since they didn't have the massive shutdowns other countries did. But, according to this NYT article, Sweden paid a big price in human lives with little, if any, economic benefit. NYT article: In short, Sweden suffered a vastly higher death rate while failing to collect on the expected economic gains. COVID19 never left us, we are still in those waves.... I'm afraid that in about a month when schools open there will be a bigger wave. If we don't maintain social distancing, washing hands, wearing masks, etc, this epidemic will be battering our shores, until a vaccine or a cure.

  7. Did enough to beat OFI 2-0 at home, today. Blew a ton of good chances in the 2nd half. Araujo and Verde are really struggling to finish.
