Fetfatzidis and Holebas play and are the main cogs for their respective teams, based on that merit alone they should definitely be included or tried in the squad going forward. I understand people's concern about the saudi arabian but one will never know what they have in someone unless they try him out.... give him the chance he will surprise many!!!....Keeping Skibbe is a mistake and what he said reassures me that hes not fit for the job but guess we have no choice at this point.... so onward we go.... for better or worse!!!

If anyone has time they should see this. Skibbe talks about how you must be playing for your club to get picked and so on. Also says he will try and add some new young players. In my opinion the reporters are not asking tougher questions. Like what happened with Holebas and why Fetfatzidis wasn't picked. A reporter asked that players like. Koutris, Bakakis and Siovas should have been called up because of the form they were in.

We sit here and complain that our players are not inform and don't get regular playing time yet fetfa is not chosen of course he deserves a call up it's actually ridiculous that he's not called up. Skibbe wants inform players yet the most inform player of them all is Holebas but he choose NOT to play him for some mysterious reason that he only can explain. he is being a hypocrite as he is the one that chooses the line up..

There are some really open groups, how could Greece not have beaten Croatia,thinking to myself that we could have landed in Group A and done damage. What a waste.. Most groups are very open.

I agree on favourite players, almost 100%. Also on DM Good thing is, regardless of negatives of our attacking midfield + strike line (RW-AM-LW-ST part I mean) chemistry is good, modern change of places during a game where you can see Platellas on RW, AM, or behind a main striker, also Passas on AM, LW, or behind a main striker, Kassos similar (and most of others who played there), also you can see Diamantopoulos withdrawing sometimes. They use a lot of through balls and direct attacking which is so far our biggest advantage and a level above other teams. Maybe I am a bit under impression of come backs against Ergo and Panaxaiki, but from what I have seen in second halves I am not far from truth. Otherwise, and without high fitness level, I am sure we wouldn't have had 5 outta 5.

i do agree about the last sentence first of all. tachtsidis wanted to move to greece for personal reasons. and i also rate olympiakos higher than calgiari where he was playing so nothing wrong with that. also one of the reasons why im sick with olympiakos is because they don't play kapino. instead they start a 35yo silvio proto. what's the benefit on that? football department has made me sick over the years with such decisions. i hope kapino moves to udinese that were targeting him on summer but olympiakos rejected their offer. also karnezis moved to watford because udinese decided to invest on a project. he's on loan there so he will be back on summer. but i'd rather have napoli which were also interested in him. sucks that he's out of form now.

if getting regular game time wld rather players playing in top flight Belgium than Greece; Bad career move for the Ethniki anyway when Taxi signed with Oly. Also Fortounis needs to go to a better league and improve on the player he is so to Mantalos. IMO Spanish, German, France, Italy, England, Dutch, Belgium and Portugal top flight regulars get priority over the rest. Would only look at rest if we had nothing else available. Our failure to qualify for WC is down to 2 things. 1 Croatia has a cracking group of players and 2 some of our key players either made some untimely or poor career moves or got injured/ unavailability at wrong time for the Ethniki. No issue with Premier league but Karnezis was regular in Italy. That moved killed us. Kapino to Oly has not worked for individual or the NT. Mitro injury and moved to France killed us. Agree about Tsiolis, Maniatis etc should not be playing for Ethniki. Manolas suspension sucked. Siovas should have also been picked in the squad. Plays in the best comp in the world and a regular. Plays against monster forwards every week and yet not even in the squad. Am very passionate about the NT. Love them and have for many years. We can be better than where we are in the rankings.

I think we could have been awarded a couple of PK's in the first have with the first resulting in a red card for the opponent. I also think the red card against them was weak and Souza at the very least should have received a yellow. Chris, the field condition I can only assume is the result of financial issues.

I would agree more less. Although I noticed that Spanos rotated and gave some alternative guys chances in friendly matches (Boca for example) and cup matches. From typical league line-up, for example tonight, he used just Hugo Souza and Kassos from the start of the match, who is an occasional starter (Kassos), which is good. The top XI should be refreshed for the league. BTW Platellas played about 10-15 minutes and Milunović had chances again in these less-prioritized matches compared to last season when he was important piece of puzzle especially in the first half of the season. Similar is with Kenan Bargkan who was good from the wing in this match.

Pitch was OK actually compared to how it looked against Panachaiki during the weekend. 1:1 it finished. Cheap goal conceded and that palto Soltani netted it after miscommunication between our stoppers to make it 1:1. Only 2 mistakes in full match that Aris played well overall and both mistakes were made by our back-up CD Marangos where the second one caused a concede.

HT 0:0 Solid performance actually. All players in our team play for his coach and Aris shirt whoever plays in this season, which is great to see. Also direct playing, lot of diagonal passes, through balls, crosses and all we lacked was a bit more clear cut chances. We continue the second half with a player up as they got a red card which was too harsh to tell you the truth.

Aris-Panahaiki 2:1, Platellas and Delizissis scorers. There are some parallels with the Ergo match. Of course again that turn around after the first conceded goal. Platellas good again. Hope all is well with Tzanakakis and that injury. Kapnidis clumsy up front.

This would be a great match up. It would be good for Aris in terms of revenue. It would be a sell out at Harilaou. As for the game itself, I'm sure the Aris players would play their hearts out and you can't ask for more than that. And if Aris were to win, well, good luck to them I say. You can't just expect a win because your budget is bigger.
