Pana I remember having arguments with PAO mates of mine who said we cant keep Karagounis and he's too old etc etc but what they don't realise is just having him there in the squad gives the other ones the same passion and moral he has. I know its a different class and league but United kept Scholes til his late 30s, hell they even had him come out of retirement and Giggs especially until his 40th, those guys bleed for their jersey and the things they pass down to young ones is what counts. Shame people don't see it that way anymore.

I think you guys should take him and it would be a good move. End of the day he's a solid player, the "MVP" for PAOK last season. He had a great season. There is too much bad blood now with him at PAOK not just with Ivic but with previous managers as well, but at AEK he may realize it's time to start fresh and stop the crap. Besides, Meli is a lot scarier than Ivan and I can picture Meli stubbing out that cigar of his right into Tzavellas cute little head, so there is that as well to keep him in line.

He scored the winner vs Levediakos last week and he missed a bucket load of chances vs pas on the weekend. In short he is not starting material for the NT, not yet anyways. Does he have a spot in the squad? perhaps.
