From what I'm reading this is the lineup we are going to see Tzolis Pavlidis Karetsas Kostoulas Kourbelis (unfortunately) Zafeiris Tsimikas Koulierakis Mavropanos Vagiannidis Tzolakis Should be Mouzakitis for Kourbelis but this guy has a hard on for the former Panathinaikos player.

Yeah I was thinking Pavlenka is probably worse off there, but it seems a lot depends on exactly what needs to get repaired. I definitely hope Ali will be back in three months (and this issue will be actually corrected moving forward). This is probably going to accelerate Lisci's move to his preferred formations, especially since Giannoulis will be back up and running soon enough. Hope this works out.

I think Pavlenka's injury would be closer to season ending due to the position he plays. Reports say Ali back in 3 months and Pavlenka back in 4 months.

Both Ali and Pavlenka will undergo surgery for their new dislocations. This will likely be a very long recovery time - from what I'm reading the arm has to be immobilized for up to six weeks, before they can even start rehab. I would not be shocked if their seasons are both over.

Yup. This has to be the first time ever that Greece has 4 or 5 strikers that i would happily start and expect to do well for the NT. Usually its where we are the most shallow in player depth.

Tough decisions for Jovanovic to make. All 3 of the keepers are starting for their respective clubs in Spain, England and Italy. Our strikers too we have Pavlidis, Kostoulas and Douvikas starting in Portugal, England and Italy respectively. Add in the in form Tetti and there are going to be some unlucky lads who miss out on a starting position. As for the match, the games against Serbia are key. They are the most winnable (on paper) so we need a minimum of 4 points. 6 if we want a shot at mixing it with the Dutch and Germans. Speaking of, neither are in sparkling form. Obviously they still have plenty of quality but they have both underachieved over the last few major tournaments. Are the potentially gettable? The Germans with Klopp now at the helm will want to make a statement early. I think he will have them breathing fire and really up for it. All the more reason we kick-off on the right foot and take 3 points from the Serbians.

U21 is also approaching the last two games during this window. Some of our guys from this list may be sent to their games if they don't play as they are still eligible...

Annoying but at least we got the win. More concerned with Ali's injury - I can't imagine that two dislocations on the same arm don't result in him needing surgery. There's got to be a deeper issue there now. Fortunately I really like Shoretire!
