Look, I've lost confidence in Tzigger long time ago. This guy is a kid that never grew up, but he's dangerous because he's got money & power. He loves soap operas, long serials (ala Saviola, etc), and he's incompetend to pick the right people for the right positions. Mistakes upon mistakes. PAO is repeating the same mistakes Oly did when it had 10 years to get a title.

Unless the internal culture changes, and Tzigger goes on permanent vacation, nothing good will happen. Honestly, do you think we could have done ANY worse under any other prez/owner????????

PS>Perhaps Andic wanted complete control of the team in order to shake things up (we need that) but Tzigger didn't agree...

what about Ketsbaia? He had Anorthosis playing a really good passing game in europe last year....If Anorthosis last year had the talent PAO has they would have gone through to the CL fore sure...of what I saw they had great teamwork, just some lack of skill kept them back...Maybe Ketsbaia could get that chemistry at PAO?

The ONLY thing that kept Anorthosis out of the CL was piss-poor officiating! Ketsbaia is an excellent manager and motivator, the problem is however he needs respect to work. He is idolised at Anorthosi and what he says goes, at PAO with Vardinoyianni and all those vendettes you have in the squad someone is bound to disobey him and f*** things up! He'd be a great signing though both as a manager and a player! As a player he would get you goals and he never loses the ball, even at his age he's exceptional. Bravo re Drako for thinking of him, go call that dick of a chairman you have and tell him to make the move!

Tzigger will NEVER get a coach that thinks he is above HIM.

It is his 'inferiority complex " that PAO will pay for, until someone has the presence to overpower him.

Tziggeraki has done nothing in his life as I have repeatedly said in this forum. If he gives up power at PAO, he will be reduced to what everyone in his close circle already know, .... NOTHING :D

Any powerful personality coach, with plans that do not conform to Tzigger's rules will NOT come to PAO, for ANY amount of $$$.

The top coaches have a reputation to protect, which is far more important than a temporary "heavy" contract. ALL coaches know that their fate is to be expandable.

Without a change in attitude, personnel, or preferably BOTH, PAO will forever be the "experiment" for medium caliber coaches, that need Euro exposure.

To top that, Tzigger's attitude has always been to buy expensive players, so that he does not have to spend for coaches...History proves that.

Players are the ones that fill the seats NOT coaches!

Why did Sollied go to gauro, after PAO was after him six months in advance?

PEACE

GREEKS: WE WANT SOUEY AS NEW BOSS

EXCLUSIVE

By Darren Lewis

PANATHINAIKOS are poised to make an audacious bid to land Graeme Souness as their new manager.

The underachieving Greek outfit are desperate to tempt the former Newcastle boss back into management following his split from the Geordies earlier this year.

They see the former hardman - who has already had some of the most difficult jobs in European football including spells at Turkish club Galatasaray and Portuguese giants Benfica - as the ideal candidate to put some bite back into their side.

As a player Souness won five titles, three European Cups and four League Cups with Liverpool.

The uncompromising Scot also won three League titles as manager of Rangers.

Despite a disappointing time at Liverpool he landed the FA Cup, he took Benfica into the Champions League and in his first season led Galatasaray to the Turkish FA Cup.

No-nonsense Souness, a top Sky TV pundit, is still being paid by Newcastle until next spring. He has been on the market since leaving St James' Park back in February.

But he has not been short of offers and turned down the chance to manage Crystal Palace shortly before the World Cup because he did not want to disrupt his family life.

Panathinaikos parted ways with 54-year-old Hans Backe last month after a disappointing start to their UEFA Cup campaign
