Irlandos
OK guys! The other matchup in our group pits Portugal v. hapless Russia. What result should we hope for?
Kojak
As always i say a draw would be of most benefit. Though i would prefer both of them to be disqualified, and we and spain go through by default...yeh i know wishful thinking lol. If russia plays some of the talents they have on the bench, kerzhakov etc....then i wouldnt be suprised if portugal struggles again. 2-1 Portugal. Irlandos
Do you see this as a multi-goal affair? I think the first goal will win it (if it comes).
Elastonpappou 13
I see Portugal winning by a great goal difference... (4-0) If you think about it it is not that bad if Portugal wins by good goal difference (they will still be in the qualification even if they draw against Spain) and Russia will have nothing to play for against us.... ;)
ZeeKoei
if Deco and Ronaldo start and Portugal can score quickly this will be an easy win for them
Irlandos
It looks as if Deco will indeed start tonight's game (even if Luis Figo doesn't like it :P )
Irlandos
After the 1-1 draw between Greece and Spain, this game seems more and more important to the host nation Portugal as well as Greece. The Poruguese will be hard-pressed to win this match which will eliminate Russia and make their efforts against us meaningless. A Portuguese win may also mean that Greece can go through even with a loss v. Russia!
Irlandos
15th minute: Portugal - Russia 1-0. Smertin has been yellow-carded which means he will miss the game v. Greece. More headaches for coach Yartsev at centre-back!
Batigol
Well the game finished with Portugal beating the Russians 2-0. Russia's out and Portugal can still make things interesting with Spain. Let's hope we win against Russia and they clobber each other out to a draw.
