Dutch Eagle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Greek refs in the quarterfinals of the cup. We have Tsakalidis from Chalkidiki. And as EPO considers the cup a kindergarten every club needs to field at least a player who is eligible for the national team of Greece and born in 2004 or later. If he is to be substituted another Greek youngster must be subbed in. That is why Monastirlis could not be substituted against Atromitos (as Nikolakoulis was the (only and not logical) alternative). The cupwinner is guaranteed of at least Conference League. So there is a lot at stake. Very dumb to have this rule.
