Omonoia9 Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I'm assuming we're going back to individual CL game topics in the group stage(if we make it)
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Today, Olympiakos is in need of a positive result in Bulgaria if they want to progress into the CL playoffs.
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 In case if anybody don't know, UEFA have scrapped the away goal meaning you have to outscore your opponent to advance. No more 1-0 home win, 2-1 away loss and advance kind of crap or 1-1 home draw 2-2 away draw and advance.
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Own goal and a penalty scored by a Greek-Cypriot
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Olympiakos now needs 2 goals to advance (no away goal rule anymore).
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) Sometimes I hate the VAR in critical football matches. Edited August 10, 2021 by Antaeus7
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) Penalty! Edited August 10, 2021 by Antaeus7
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 gooooaalllllll 2-2 Penalty scored by El-Arabi!
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) We are heading to a penalty shootout. When was the last time Olympiakos went to a SO in a UEFA match? Edited August 10, 2021 by Antaeus7
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) Valbuena missed from the spot 1-0 lead for Ludogorets Edited August 10, 2021 by Antaeus7
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Hassan's attempt saved by the goalkeeper, good night Olympiakos cannot score in the shootout.
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Lala finally scores one for Olympiakos 3-1 lead for the Ludogorets
Antaeus7 Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Cinicho scores the winner and Olympiakos are out 4-1 on PK.
Antaeus7 Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Since Olympiakos are now playing in the UEFA Europa League playoffs, can we open a new topic?
Ellada2004 Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Olympiakos now face Slovan Bratislava for a spot in Europa league. They need to show up and have convincing result in the first leg in Greece as they were outplayed for the most part at home vs Ludogorets which ultimately cost them progressing to the CL.
