Kitsiou is sitting this one out due to cards. Skondras might take his place. Rodrigues might also be available.

PAOK won the appeal against the 1-game ban for the throwing incident in the Atromitos game and the Kalloni game will be played with fans present. Probably the last chance for PAOK fans to see their team this season at Toumba.

Not much to say about this one, everything else besides a victory would set an end to our play offs ambitions.

I predict an easy win. A dominant 4-0 victory is long overdue.

Kalloni's goalkeeper thinks he's Neuer. I'm pretty pissed we didn't capitalize on that just now.

Posted

Tziolis began the play, saved the ball after a bad attempt, passed to Charisis to then got the assist.

Posted

Kace has been rather poor today. I'd take him out and put in Rodrigues...move Charisis back into DM, Pelkas back to center, and Rodrigues on the wing. Tziolis has been passing pretty well.

Wonderful goal by Klaus, great play by Leovac and Pelkas to set him up. 2-0

Korovesis getting ready to come on. Not sure if as a winger or a fullback.

Pash is a coach all of a sudden.... ;)

I wish this site let me downvote posts, you'd be in real s%$#!.

Mistakidis pulled up short on the same knee he hit earlier. Looks like he's getting subbed - hopefully he doesn't miss too many games. Good time to put in Rodrigues...

Posted

Took Rodrigues all of 25 seconds to set up a great counterattack, nutmeg some mofos, and for Korovesis to nearly score. Good to see him back.

Posted

GOAL Korovesis! Rodrigues skirted it along the front line, not sure if Klaus got a touch on it. 3-0

Posted

Malezas coming on for Leovac (who had a very good game). Tzavellas probably moving to LB.

Who would have thought that playing 4 in the back to compensate for lack of star quality, putting Kace in the lineup and playing everyone else in their ACTUAL position would lead to 2 consecutive wins....Crazy, crazy stuff this Ivic character is doing here...and that's with 3 starters STILL on the bench.....

Kace was to me the most droppable of the starting 11. But, you don't need much quality to beat Kalloni.

Here's the press conference. Ivic starts about 30 minutes in. I'm just starting it now, but can note that the second question posed to Ivic was about whether or not he knows why the team can't go more than a few days without injuries. He says he thinks he knows the reason... Doesn't seem to imply that it's the pitch at the training center (else he would have just said it).

-edit- ends pretty quickly too, not much of interest

Yeah, I thought the same before we lost twice against Panthrax with our proponitara...

Anyways, our team is gaining momentum. If this holds on I see us taking all 9 points right before the play offs.
