js1000 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 thread opened for our young defender, has represented greece at u19 and u21 level and has made 1 appearance for leverkusen so far
js1000 Posted August 3, 2010 Author Posted August 3, 2010 according to this report he is set to spend next season at newly promoted Kaiserslautern http://transfermarkt.de/de/1-fck-leiht-pet...igen_43692.html lets hope he gets some playing time
Euro2004 Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Well for them to go for him in a loan move i'm sure he'll get some playing time, let's hope he develops
js1000 Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 decent loan spell with kaiserslautern made 16 league starts, 20 appearances in total.
pao123 Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/201...-after-alleged- hopefully he doesnt pull a tachtsidis..
Akritis_1944 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Looks like he is in good company though. Becks, Goo-Rooney and Giggs love dem prossies as well!
Euro2004 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Petsos (who is now at Kaiserslautern, can one of the mods change it please? ) played 90 mins in their 3-1 win over Mainz at the weekend. Fortunis also came on in injury time as a sub
pao123 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 i think his rights are still owned by leverkusen and he is just on loan to kaiserslautern. can anyone confirm this?
js1000 Posted May 26, 2012 Author Posted May 26, 2012 i think petsos is on the verge of joining newly promoted Greuther Fürth on a 3 year deal and will continue his career in the bundesliga
Euro2004 Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 i think petsos is on the verge of joining newly promoted Greuther Fürth on a 3 year deal and will continue his career in the bundesliga They are decent. Mitroglou is being linked with them too
pao123 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 greuther are in last place in the bundesliga and will most likely be relegated. petsos has appeared in 9 matches starting 5 but scored an absolute cracker of a freekick this weekend in their 2-2 tied away to werder, playing a full 90. he played opposite sokratis who also featured for the full 90. the guy is only 21, so hopefully still room for improvement.
Nikitas Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 forgot about the guy , good to see that he still plays regulary for them , to bad rapid didnt win. hopefully they do next match.
Doxa Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 What does De Boer and Ajax failures have to do with Petsos?
PanaTO Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Caught the last 30 minutes of Rapids game against shaktar and petsos looked very good. Was spraying passes everywhere took free kicks and almost put rapid through with a free kick that was saved in the last minute. Hopefully, he gets some game time with the ethniki
Doxa Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Good player maybe someone will notice him after the group stage of the EL.
Pontos Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I remember reading Vryzas spoke to him a season or two back but nothing come of it. I'd like to have a player like him next to Kace instead of Tziolis
PanaTO Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I hear would like this guy in a PAO shirt as well 1
Ethnikos Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 http://static2.mdhl.de/storage/scl/mdhl/automatischer-bildimport/dpa/sportsline/fussball/zweitebundesliga/news/3995557_m3w624h416q75v46271_urn-newsml-dpa-com-20090101-130715-99-06008_large_4_3.jpg?version=1373901268 Signs for Panathinaikos :P
maggica Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 ^you put my hopes up for a second. We could use such a player
Ethnikos Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Amorgos I couldn't agree more, who needs a 24 year old talented, inform, creative, Greek center midfielder when you have Essien?
Doxa Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 This would be a good player for any club in Greece except Olympiakos.Instead they let him leave Greece because they prefer to spend money on players like Essien, Simoes, Noboa, Maduro, Zeca and all the other s**** that walks around the Greek league. These teams destroyed Greek talent and the Greek league thats why they never sell any Greek players only Olympiakos knows what its doing.
Pontos Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 While usually I would agree, I think Petsos was hesitant to play in Greece. He is a product of German football, when the time came for him to consider playing outside of Germany I'm sure Greece popped up as a potential destination but with all the politics one can't blame him for going to play in Austria. But you're right, I would've loved to have a player like him instead of cameo appearances by Noboa, Natcho and Maduro.
