We have 3 strikers on the team, to not accept an offer of almost 2 mil on a player who won't get any PT (if in fact he doesn't) i'd say that's awful mismanagement. Now, if he becomes the starter and starts getting some quality chances and hitting them, i'm fine with it. Now onto our new RB. He's a backup for a team in a relegation battle. He's a tiny bloke, at 5'9. I do not understand, in a huge position of need, us taking backups as loanees from teams who may not even be better than us. Yes, he got a lot of playing time last year, but that was in the second division in Spain. We are not some world beaters now, but we need to start hitting on some of these transfers. We shouldn't be taking loans. This would be our 5th loanee this year. We need to start spending money to get better, we have only bought one player so far this year, Tzimas at 350,000. Between the Tzolis, Giannoulis deals, and our making the GS and knock out stage for the conference league, we should have adequate funds to purchase some quality players.

I’m fine with this league for a few years. It’ll help improve our overall team coefficient while gaining some $$ throughout Europe. I hope to be playing in champions league qualifiers or Europa league group stage in a few seasons

People wanted JVS gone blindly, not knowing who our replacement would be. This guy would set our team back another cycle. As the Azerbaijani coach he has 2 wins in 20 games. The last time he had a winning record was back in 2006 with Torino. If we get someone better and this is just a stupid rumor , so be it. But if we got rid of JVS for this guy, that would be a huge mistake

I think a lot of people are confusing what we should do and what we will do based off our recent skid. We have been EXPECTING better results for the past few years now but they haven’t come. Here and there we may get a draw vs a good team but then next game we will struggle w/ minnows. I think what we need is consistency. I don’t think anyone is asking us to be beating the England’s and Portugal’s. But I agree we should be beating the Kosovo’s and Cyprus’ more often than not. What @paokarag4 is saying , I believe, is that based off our recent performances, it’s not going to be easy. Northern Ireland’s style of play will give us trouble. However they are in the same boat as us, they tied Switzerland and Italy but lost to Bulgaria and struggled to get by Estonia. To expect us to come out and win all 6 I think is hoping for too much. Vs the pot 4 team we should get 6 points, vs Kosovo we should get 6 but I can realistically see 4. Vs Northern Ireland I’m hoping for 4 but can see 3. You add those points up, I’ll be happy w/ 14 points. Last rendition of the Nations League, 14 points would win every group while 12 would win most.
