Very poor second half after an ok first half, Ajax could do as they liked but we shouldn't be too surprised given the lack of quality transfers. Cosic looked very awkward on the ball, Hult had little support, we had no presence on the wings... too easy for Ajax. Alef was not as bad as some make out. Oikonomou at fault for first goal, for someone with so much experience in Italy, you shouldn't be making these mistakes

Big game away to Ajax!!! Dunno what to expect... no Livaja, Lopez and Bakasetas... truth be told I am not head over heels for Livaja or Bakasetas believe it or not where as I think Lopez's speed will be missed. Interesting game, a point would be good

Hey @J1078 This is it half right. First part is right about the tournament to see who wins the NL but there is no simultaneous playoff with the winners. If you win your group you gain promotion to next group and secure a playoff spot AFTER the Euro qualifying campaign IF you fail to qualify for EURO 2020, that’s when the playoffs start between 16 teams with the 4 best failed qualifiers from each pot Hope that makes sense.

Scoring goals has been an issue post 2004 ironically enough. For me the possession I speak to is a more direct and fluent possession than what we saw the last two years, I am not just talking about possession in general. We didnt get the goal we wanted but I think this squad is in no way a mess, you guys are over-reacting, I dunno if you thought Greece was that much better than what we are but this has nothing to do with sugar coating either. Our defense has been poor for some time now, even with two WC CB's... but we're playing Torosidis and Tzavellas there... Tzavellas got caught out on both goals, especially the first, that's a problem, bloody two new midfielders that allowed us to dictate play and create chances when only last campaign for example, Estonia dictated play against us at their home ground. I wonder how people react if Mitroglou scored the sitter at the end?

Very much off the mark, I am not lying to myself when I say I think there is a big over-reaction to this loss and that I feel we can build on this performance and possession domination of the last two games.

Thank you, good to read some level headed comments here compared to some melt downs on social media. The team looks better overall IMO and gives me more hope than before as we dominated play for the most part. Some are really criticising Kourmbelis & Bouchalakis but I think that’s rather unfair, we can’t complain all the time! Personally I don’t mind the two, it’s their first few games for us and it’s already helped us improve our game from such a flat midfield that can get out run easily. Donis was bid invisible up front, considering he was fresher though, I would have liked to seen how he could have gone on the wing in second half. We move on now, it’s a costly loss but we continue to dominate play the results got to come
