Watched highlights of Greece at Bosnia in Euro 2008 qualifying a 4-0 win were the Ethniki smashed Bosnia. Katsouranis scored the 4th goal with a beautiful lob over the goalie. What a goalara!!

I still can’t believe how Greece could not top a group with Finland, Hungary and Estonia. Also finishing below Hungary in 3rd was pathetic, Skibbe screwed us here as it would have been good to have a NL playoff spot in our pocket just in case, though I do believe Greece will finish in top two.

I think they will be lucky to tie Finland especially without Pjanic. Also Finland are tough at home recently not giving up a goal in nations league matches.

Yes Im curious to see how Ange will slot in all the guys that missed the first 2 games. Manolas, Torosidis, pelkas etc should be back. Bakasetas should not get called up. Italy will be the toughest test in this group so if Greece get 3 points here it will set us up very well with a home date vs Armenia to follow Gotta watch out for Moise Kean he's been in great form.

Ya I just want us to qualify first and foremost its great to see Greece play in tournament football. I think if the team keeps getting better and the younger players step it up then maybe they can get passed the group stages and even further with a good draw. Just avoid the powerhouse teams like France, Belgium and Spain.

Hopefully Greece win there next 2 euro qualifiers and keep climbing the rankings. Tunisia at 28 is absolutely ridiculous and Romania at 25 they should be below us.

I think Ange will go with Mitroglou if he's healthy going into match vs Italy based on his overall experience. I would like to see Koulouris given a chance. I can't wait for the match vs Italy. I know and play football with lots of Italians and to beat them would be something else.

Mitroglou would have gotten the last one in the back of the net in that spot.

The team played excellent attacking football vs Bosnia and they created numerous chances. Mitroglou would have potted a goal vs Liechenstein in the 2-0 win with all the chances that were wasted and maybe with the great service he might have scored against Bosnia. A few headers fell to Donis that he couldn't direct in. Also the great chance that Fortounis blasted over the bar I think Mitro puts that one away. He needs to get into better game shape but if the team gets him the ball in these danger areas he is usually clinical.

Good to know, I have a good feeling Greece will challenge Italy for 1st place in the group.

I don't see Bakasetas being called up for the Italy and Armenia matches. Ange saw that he couldn't perform in a big rivalry match vs Bosnia and he couldn't perform well vs lowly Lichtenstein. The guy is not NT material. We have a nice pool of talent to draw from, plus add in Manolas, Retsos and Torosidis for the next matches and the team looks very formidable.

Basinas and Stelios G. are already starting to put there finger prints allover this team hence the positivity and unity in the squad. Koutris was impressive with his hustle and great crosses I really like how he is coming along. Zeca doesn't stop running and made a vital defensive header on a cross that was going to be headed in by the Bosnian player.

I can't understand why Vlaho did not move at all on the free kick? Reminded me of Karnezis not moving on ruiz goal vs Costa Rica but he was slightly screened. Had we played even slightly better off the start we win this game. At the end Bosnia was just clinging on. Loved Samaris belting out the Greek anthem as most there fans were booing at the time it was being played.

That's what I said alot of these Bosnians have this mentality that they are so superior in football to us when they have accomplished what one wcup appearance? As I said earlier I doubt they will ever reach a semi final of a major tournament and will never come close to what Greece did in 2004 and for a decade after that.

Fortounis is a game changer.. But he did give the ball away too much needless at times. He also had an opportunity late in the game to cross the ball in the box with three or four guys there and it went straight to the goalie almost looked like he was taking a shot? Overall second half was fantastic from the players to the coach..

We have to go into the game vs Italy without any fear off them and will be fine. Samaris was fantastic today. With Manolas back he will calm things down in the back, he was a huge loss today, I was so pissed when he got that injury in the CL game With a healthy lineup Lord willing we will be fine going forward. I think Finland will be tough test especially away were we have trouble there. Bosnia goes there next without Pjanic I can see them losing that game. Is Pjanic out 2 games for the red card?

Both stupid goals to concede the first we were not ready to defend and then after the initial shot we couldn't clear the ball. The second was very strange I dont know when I last saw something like that play, no wall on a free kick from such a dangerous position? Like you said you cant let a player like Pjanic have a free look at the goal like that. Before the game started I said a draw would be very good for Greece away in Bosnia and the way they got it was impressive. Now Greece go home and just have find a way to get wins vs Italy which will be tougher than today and Armenia who we shouldn't take lightly.

Vlachodimos should have been better, there goalie made a couple big saves. We were so disorganized at the back in the first 20 minutes making silly mistakes and giving possession away so cheaply. The game started to turn after 35th minute and on and Fortounis should have finished that chance he shot over the bar. Bosnia only had one chance in the 2nd half and they sat back and tried to defend which is there weakness..Anyways Greece could have won but we also could have lost big as well with that awful start to the match. A draw is huge for us...

No worries.. You played a very good first 25 minutes and we were out of sorts uncharacteristically at the back.. Missing Manolas had a lot to do with that. Anyways will see you in Greece in a few months.
