ninis should start vs. belarus and if he plays extremely well maybe against bosnia fortounis and mantalos are tried and true at the moment otherwise so it's not the end of the world if ninis gets overlooked, even tho it's not right

yeah for instance denmark has struggled to qualify past 10 years but they're a great side and way better than some of the other sides that get in logistically it would be too much to have teams flying to other continents for games.

he was our best player in the colombia match an the colombians rated him highly after that. great bicycle kick, outside box shot, and short passes. people thought his potential would be higher and would replace karagouni I think that's going to be done by mantalos now (fortouni is our best attacking mid but mantalos has more similar character to karagounis. fortounis imo a new type of greek attacking footballer that we haven't seen before to my knowledge. fortouni is the product of a more sophisticated training regume which greek facilities in the past have lacked. getting tutored by dominguez helps too.)

one of the flaws i think is we're comparing our best to other people's average. yeah if Greece is at it's best we can be top 15 or more but it's turbulent still. greece at it's best is better than bosnia at their best, but if pjanic and dzeko are firing on all cylinders we can be in trouble and a great greece is hard to come by these days. our current form though is good results wise.

yeah tziolis has a gerrardeque outside box shot. bouchalakis has this too and he's younger and growing and left footed. if tachtsidis doesn't shape up, he might take his place.

kaltsas is fantastic on his a-game but i'm not sure if he can translate that to the NT i was watching astreas vs. pao highlights and he made 4-5 dangerous plays in one game.

wings should be fetfa and gianniota imo because they're true wingers. karelis cf. mantalos and fortounis free roaming AM karelis doesn't seem to know how to utilize the wings properly. he gets closed out very easily. centre box is where he dominates. look at all his goals. they're all inside the box centre for the most part.

belgium is a nearly perfect team. the only thing they are missing is true full backs. but they have 4 great cb's. the only advantage we could have is if we use pace on the wings for the slow cb's. which we don't have a lot of. holebas would have been KEY to expose this one flaw

I never got a good reason for his last name. it doesn't sound greek or albanian for that matter. his face doesn't look super greek either i know wiki says he had grandparents and there are some albanians i know who have greek ancestry for sure but his last name is just odd lol

watch him play for aek so u can get a better example of him at his best. he only played like 2 games for the NT I think he can become very important for us this campaign. I like him so maybe i'm just making excuses for him, but a lot of players don't have his attacking iq on the NT so they misread his passes and don't get into proper positioning eg) Maniatis lol

he's super fun to watch when he's on his game. i think he'll find his groove eventually. if he can like things up for aek he can do it with the nt as well

the Greek football NT is my favourite team for all sports. A lot of people in Greece are huge fans too but there's a weird meme going on where people also shun patriotism. Shits gotta stop. Greece has fantastic history, people, culture. We should be reverent for it and support each other!
