  1. wow nice. pretty big move since these guys are usually mid table la liga team!
  2. hahaha I posted right away I bet he would find form in scotland. he's a big powerful player, good interception skills, and killer shot. we give him too much shit imo. future players = kolovos, mystiakidis, bouchalakis still really liking Kaltsas. he's a big reason why asteras is so threatening.
  3. winger options = fetfa, gianniota, lazaros (popped 2 goals for aek this weekend), pelkas, holebas, staf, klonaridis, kaltas most of you guys already know i feel about this. I like fetfa on right, fortouni on the left (fortouni plays there very often for olympiakos and plays just as well as when he's central.)
  4. pao let go of karelis, ninis, and kaltsas in one season though. now our midfield is mostly foreigners. our backline has more greek blood. I don't think we'll win this upcoming, but the game in athens we have a good shot. they'll likely not need the points, and we play best with our back against the wall. let's not forget, this is relatively the same belgium that couldn't take out the united states or wales in tourny football. teams that most ppl would think we have a fair shot to beat.
  5. kpaps defensive mid is beast.
  6. we can beat bosnia and we can get a point from belgium. best case scenario
  7. there was a german guy at my gym rocking a sokratis dortmund jersey. he's winning fans everywhere.
  8. turkey had european champions on their teams tho (queresma and nani) which is a big statement to how sharp the league keeps the players and the level of competition
  9. would be crazy if manolas and sokratis could play on the same team. most of the teams that need a cb that are high tier tho only seem to need one.
  10. I have a feeling he's gunna pick up form in scotland.
  11. fifa ratings are based on mathematical algorithms on season performance. they're pretty damn accurate.
  12. I wouldn't totally toss my arguement either. It's likely a 10 pronged systematic thing that results in the desolation of our beautiful patrida.
  13. I wish re. The turks are kicking our ass economically. they have their own air lines are making signing big name players still in the 28-32 range rvp, sneijder, queresma, nani, klose. you can thank the politicians for throwing greece under the bus in their thirst for power eg) Merkel.
  14. we were spoiled with giourka + toro past 10+ years.
  15. can't see him doing well in epl. he's too slow.
  16. totally forgot. but we played some attractive football vs. hungary in the 4-3. why not go back to that? namely the midfield consisted of pelka, tachtsi, mantalos, fortounis, samaris right? kone as a power sub for cf.
  17. strange. thought he was playing well for paok?
  18. we're not gunna see any surprises. basically skibbe's plan is Mitroglou Fortounis Mantalos Staf Samaris Tzav Sokratis Kpaps Manolas Toro Karnezis His 4 additional go-to's are karelis, tziolis, gianniotas tachtsi it's not shabby at all just karelis at LW and tziolis in general are mistakes. Belgium whole squad is pretty much in form tho, so we might get blown out. we're talking naingollan, hazard, courtois, de bruyne, lukaku. exoun piotita
  19. Karnezis Manolas - Kyriakos - Sokratis Toro - Samaris - Staf - - -Tachtsi/Fetfa - - - - Mantalos- - - - - - - - Fortounis - - - - - - - - - - - -Mitroglou - - - - - - - - - - Let's think one tourny at a time. Toro will still be our best RB in 2018.
  20. Yeah he seemed to have more potential than Manolas or Sokratis but cause he was so good at a young age I think he played too much at a high level for developing bones/muscles. The male body doesn't even finish growing until 26. He's still a beast though and automatically creates impact anytime he plays for Greece.
  21. Karnezis's seemingly winning the mental game against Dzeko as he skys a penalty and a header in Udinese vs. Roma. Might be looking to into this, but his angers seems to have got the best of him to take composed shots. Good sign for Greece vs Bosnia 2. http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2017/01/15/udinese-vs-roma-highlights-full-match-2/
  22. not that big of a deal tho guys. it's just more selection, no one is putting a gun to your head to watch s%$#! matches. just watch deeper into the tourny and matches you're interested in. Much like how a lot of people don't watch qualifiers. Greece vs. Estonia is not gunna get the average neutral excited, but for us we are engaged cause that's our patrida. it increases the chances that everyones favourite team gets in and will raise the popularity of the sport and therefore quality long term.
  23. no way he starts pelkas vs. belgium. he's shown he's conservative and in what could be one of the most pivotal matches of the campaign, no chance unless pelka gets a hat-trick against some big time team at paok
  24. I'm really liking Tzavellas nowdayz. He has a winners mentality too. Saying 'we're going into belgium for the win.' That's unlike the Greece we saw in the euro campaign who would make sheepish statements.
  25. Pelkas and Gianniota could work cause Pelkas is almost double footed and pacey. Can't we play without wing too? or is that a major liability? I think PAO did it, but PAO has been playing lower than their historic standard
