the positives 1. Donis played great and was creating lots of opportunities. Finally have another threat besides Fortounis in midfield. 2. Bosnia lost to Cyprus so we still are in the drivers seat for second place. 3. The last tournys we went through via playoffs eg) vs. Romania and Ukraine which we played well. We're hard to beat in big games. 4.. we have a great starting 11 if everyone gets playing time and no injuries. Mitroglou Fortounis Karelis Donis Tachtsidis Kpaps Staf Manolas Sokratis Toro Karnezi plus Samaris, Zeca, Tzavella

we only have two good strikers mitroglou and karelis who are both out and would both start if available. sokratis out. torosidis out. annoyed we didn't get the win but happy that cyprus beat bosnia. by the time we face cyprus we'll likely have a full squad so I don't fear them as we already beat them last time. I had a bad feeling about the Estonia match though, they aren't exactly a pushover side like Gilbratar.

our true best lineup imo Mitroglou Holebas/Donis Fortunis Fetfatzidis Tachtsi Kpaps Staf Manolas Sokratis Torosidis Karnezis Subs Samaris Karelis Ninis Zeca Kaltsas Kapino

To me Giannakopoulos > Mantalos Karagounis > Fortounis Seitaridis = Torosidis (at their prime) Nikopolidis < Karnezis (he does all thing niko does + can handle corners, niko was sticky fingers) Tsiartas > Tachtsi Basinas < Kpaps Zagorakis > Samaris Nikolaidis > Karelis Manolas > Kapsis Sokratis > Dellas Stafylidis = Fyssas Mitroglou > Charisteas Yeah when you put it like that euro 2004 does look pretty good but also mind you if we had fetfa/holebas it would be tougher call. Karagounis, Tsiartsas, Giannakopoulos, Zago would be welcomed additions. we had a midfield back then. ever since we've only had like 2 lock ins.

has anyone payed a good eye to bouchalakis? the only positives I see from him is he's left footed and has a great outside box shot. Does he do anything else well? Tziolis has a great outside box shot too, doesn't mean he should be playing for the NT

Mitroglou Staf Fortounis Tachtsi Samaris Tzav Sokratis Kpaps Manolas Torosidis Karnezis Subs Zeca, Karelis, Mantalos, Gianniotas, kapino Possible players if form picks up this season Kone, Pelkas I think this is skibbe's template and is pretty solid and has that euro 2004 family feel, with arguably more talented players rather than scrappy. fetfa and holebas would have been useful but attitude problems could be cancerous for the locker room, and we're getting results so I'm happy for now.

hopefully he flourishes. seems like most of the best greek players though don't leave the super league until 23-25. eg) Mitroglou, Sokratis, Manolas, Samaris

donis pass was crisp. very italian/franco style. Junvetus training did him good. it was just one game though guys, mantalos looked crisp for us at times too. Dzeko and Manolas are buds they're just hot heads shoving each other around. They literally were hugging each other the week before. Bosnian degenerate fans were just looking for an excuse to start a scrap.
