no way. Italy has just as good of defense as us if not better, plus they actually have a midfield. if they were only able to get Icardi as a striker they would be world cup contenders. they've had a hole in striker position for a long time now besides Balotelli's flash in the pan. Croatia has a weak D and great attacking force. These kind of teams are our specialty. Probably the best draw besides Denmark. Still will be very tough. Way harder than Ukraine and Romania. I could even see this going into extra time.

croatia is tough. and their group was really hard. yeah they had no superpower but iceland ukraine and turkey are all tough teams for just 1 group.

hopefully it was denmark. I think we were lucky the two playoffs we went through cuz we were high ranking and therefore seeded for most tournys past decade until our botched euro 2016 campaign. ukraine and romania are significantly easier to beat than switzerland, italy, or croatia. denmark is about same level, so let's hope we get them.

I do have a feeling we're gunna get Denmark. Greece is probably the best unseeded team, so if fifa does pull of shaninigans they'll want us to face the Danes so we don't threaten the other seeded teams.

he might have not known as it's pretty redicolous that you can't wear a pao shirt at an NT game. This is when we put club ties aside and maybe it was his only jersey. Remember the greek leagues emblem is also the same as the national teams.

greece vs. italy playoff games would be wild but I'd rather any of the other teams. remember this is playoffs. so we HAVE to win at least one of the games. they have a solid defense and our offense is not sharp. they're very similar to us but just a higher level.

from these teams, croatia is the only team we have a winning record against. but all tough, I'd take Denmark 1st too tho

tziolis actually had a very good game. a goal and closed spaced up in a way that Samaris didn't vs. belgium. fyi sokratis is an 86 is in fifa LOL this squad would be so much better with holebas and fetfa. but at least we have donis and an in form laz now.

fortounis was winning tackles in the midfield and creating chances and getting into good positions to score. he was solid imo. there was some chances that mitro should have passed to fortounis but chose to shoot on bad angles. Mitroglou on a bad angle vs. fortounis on wide open might be equal chance at a goal though lol.

northern ireland revenge? We have a chance against all the teams but they're all decent as well. I'd prefer to face northern ireland or denmark I think. italy/portugal are the toughest...

mantalos has been just as solid as laz though and laz has been out of NT for 3 years. too dicey of a game to just put new blood in. I think his decision was sound. A swap for mantalos for laz in second half though would be wise.

fortounis nice hustle. he won like 2-3 tackles in midfield. would be nice to get some more goals to up for goal differential. we have a decent one because of our defense... not sure how we'll stack up in playoff positions... cyprus is looking better.. there's so many greek flags in cyprus
