  1. our most likely chance is if we beat/tie Bosnia and lose to Belgium but win the playoff spot. what happens between Belgium/Greece/Bosnia is going to be vital cause I don't think any team is gunna drop points to Cyprus/Estonia/Gilbratar this campaign. the 2nd place teams are all pretty beatable for us. And also if we have high points (which we currently do it will be someone beatable) for example as it stood before the game our opposition is northern ireland which we struggled with last campaign but we should really be able to take them or is it randomized? last world cup I think it came down to fifa draw/seeding so that's trouble. we didn't get the red and held on against belgium, beat bosnia and tie belgium and win everything else to capture 1st that would of been best case scenario.
  2. we can beat them. we were minutes away from coming into that game as 1st whislt they got pounded 3-0
  3. that's what I thought too, does it extend to more than one game? kpaps DM would be nice.
  4. the first tachtsi yellow was harsh imo and he got mitro the assist. so his role as a fellani disrupter was valid if we had 11 men we may have held on tho
  5. it's frustrating how we can't hold onto the ball for 30 seconds but we do have one of the best defenses in the world. we're still in the drivers seat tho that's the good thing
  6. would've been so nice to get the win sucks a shock win was snapped with minutes to go. but if u told me 1-1 yeah I'd take it. Bravo ston Mitroglou. Manolas also played great. Staf was also amazing. Fortounis was a bit invisible and Sokratis was great besides the Sokratis goal. Tzavellas also played baller besides his temper and at least it only costed him at the 90th minute. Luckily for Bosnia we'll likely have kpaps back and we have some depth with Zeca, Siopis, Maniatis to cover Tachtsi
  7. so far so good. question is can we sustain? would like to see gianniotas on at some point for counter attack they won't be as easy to contain second half I'm sure. Especially with their deep bench options.
  8. wow that is probably our best lineup bravo. (besides fetfa still think he should be there) we might be able to win with a pinpoint tachtsi pass with this lineup
  9. happy greek Independence day everyone. I have a feeling Belgium will score early and overwhelm us, sadly. Let's hope luck is on our side today.
  10. no but my prediction. decent enough Mitroglou Staf Fortounis Mantalos/Gianniota Samaris Maniatis Tzav Sok man Toro Kap
  11. lol honestly tho if you're gunna get paid 10x more and be a star it's pretty nice! as apposed to rotting on the bench in italy for less money. we should call him up though, he'd be great for the NT so he can get everything glory via NT, money and playtime in saudi arabia.
  12. amazing news for us if it stays that way! We need to play the old patrida way. Strong defense and capitalize on ANY mistakes they make. Cyprus lost to the 3-0 and our defense is better so if we lose I think it'd be like 2-0. 3 cm's Siopis/Zeca/Tachtsi or 3 cb's. I like Siovas cause at 6'4 he can nullify Lukaku as an aerial threat at 6'3. so hard to choose though we have so many options but few no brainers besides = mitro, man, sok, fortouni, karnezi, toro. The other 5 hard to choose between. Staf and Samaris have potential to be lock ins. Mitro Fortounis Mantalos/Gianniota Samaris Maniatis Staf/tzav Siovas Sok Man Toro Kapino then again sokratis handled dzeko pretty well so siovas might just be a log in comparison and tzavellas is more dynamic.
  13. Hazard is also likely out for this game which is boost for us. Unfortunately they are also extremely gifted at the LM position with Mirallas AND Carassaco. Not to mention De Bruyne
  14. looked back the old squad they had mitroglou, manolas, samaris, maniatis, avraam paps + djebour, roberto, dominguez, ibagaza they reason why they were so good was because of GREEK players actually it seems. I think they're not as good now because they're 80% foreign. Relying on buying power vs. growing talent in the Greek league, growing talent seems to still be better. even when PAO was really good we had a lot of greek talent eg) karagounis, katsouranis, ninis, salpigidis, seitaridis, vyntra in 2010.
  15. tough call maniatis vs. zeca. Zeca is fit but never played nT. Maniatis is clubless but has been a staple for us... I'm leaning more towards Maniatis cause even in the Australia being clubless he brought it.
  16. it wasn't retroactive I just failed to communicate the time frame I had in mind. Yes he played very few games and I don't know how to pull up all the results just off the top of my head though I'm recalling turkey 0-0. bosnia 1-1. hungary 0-0. small sample size for sure though.
  17. sucks man. hope he makes a good recovery so his knee isn't shitty the rest of his life. xristos kai panagia mazi tou
  18. shame. I feel a lot more comfortable when he plays. Actually, I think he gives the NT more impact than Manolas or Sokratis. Think about the games that Kpaps played. I can't recall one game where our opponents scored more than 1 goal with kpaps on the field. He bleeds for the NT. From the 3, Manolas is the worst. He's too casual. He got outrun by Lafferty who is nowhere near as fast as him. Slacker.
