yeah I like pelkas. he's hungry. especially now that mantalos is out and he's been great for top of the league PAOK this season.

will be interesting how the superleague ends. olympiakos is always looming to get back on top. AEK and PAOKs dominance has always felt shaky to me. PAOK and AEK also have tougher schedules with a bunch of derbys coming up.

AEK is looking good in europe though. Siopis isn't even starting for Oly though. Tachtsi has been a more key player. But to see what these guys can do good point. Giakoumakis could be interesting but ya only 1 good game for AEK so far.

yeah. that's why a euro win is almost as big of a deal as a world cup game. because we all know that a good amount of teams in world cup aren't deserving but because of the continent rations certain teams get through

bakakis huge for AEKs win against Oly for the greek cup today. Looks like we finally have Torosidis Successor. Galanopoulos also looks grrreeeat in CM. Two positions we really need filled. fortounis and tachtsidis are also linking up nicely for oly with fortounis cross + tachtsidis header for oly.

what are the rules for caps? for example giannou got capped for Greece yet he was able to switch for Australia? (guessing cuz it was just a friendly?)

Giakoumakis with the game winner for AEK vs. Olympiakos 90th minute coming on as a sub for Kone at 72. Also tried to hit a scissor kick on a cross that lead to AEKs first goal. Gunna still be tough for him to get a lot of playing time as AEK is blessed at the striker position with LIvaja and Araujo

I love the way he plays when he's in form. So nimble and can create something out of nothing.

Lazaro is half greek. Like Holebas. Not the same as Zeca who's not greek at all and Villafanez who's only 25% Greek.

oof ya Manthatis is way faster an is more likely to be called up. Lazaro is highly entrenched in the Austrian world. Mind you He can play both left and right. which lamprou? I haven't seen Manthatis play but Lazaro has Donis like potential.

every player has good and bad games though. Lazaros was responsible for all 3 goals against olympiakos which is a better side than gilbratar. We tied estonia. Doesn't mean estonia is at our level.

greek superleague top goal scorerers.. not a single greek snap lol. http://www.superleaguegreece.net/en/stats/topplayers the problem is the best greek strikers get bought out by big clubs and then are left to rot on the bench. eg) giakoumakis at AEK. giakoumakis mystiakidis could be okay bakasetas, lazaros, kone, donis can play cf as well but not their optimal positions. vellios and diamantakos are okay and are realistically are 3rd and 4th best if they were actually in form. we gotta hope to god mitro and karelis can be in form for next campaign. luckily we have a lot of time before competitive play.

totally forgot to add in lazaros. he's in great form this season 11 goals so far as a winger. Laz and Donis on the wings (Y)

tachtsidis and fortounis are linking up pretty well at oly lately. donis is great and will be a star for us mark my words. but he's not our goal scorer. that's mitroglou. midfield of = fortounis, tachtsi, zeca, fortounis, mantalos, samaris is good if they're all in form. our main problem is form. an in form Samaris is very good. We saw what he did to Ivory Coast and also was MOM for Benfica deep in champions league.

on paper we should be able to beat them. let's see. Salah is in some crazy form and our offense is impotent lately.
