From August 31 till September 17 the 40th European Basketball Championship will take place in 4 different countries. The final stage will be in Konstantinoupoli. This is the last Eurobasket that is organised every two years. From 2017 the continental championships will take place every four years.
Odd result sometimes a 1-0 victory. Can go either way overthere. If you manage to score in the first quarter you have a good chance to take down the spell against Azeri teams.
A very good result today for AEK: 2-0 against Dinamo Minsk. In European ties avoiding your opponent (a seeded club!) to score in your stadium and you scoring twice must be celebrated and cherised. Bravo AEK!
4,375 season tickets so far.
Till August 5th holders of last years season tickets have the chance to renew their ticket. After that the not sold season tickets will be on the market for everyone.
Greece won the U20 Eurobasket.
In the semis they won 77-56 against Spain.
In the finale they defeated Israel 65-56.
Antonis Koniaris (PAOK) and Vasilis Charalambopoulos (Panathinaikos) were selected in the best starting 5 of the tournament. Charalambopoulos was the MVP of the tournament.

Left and right there will be a lot of clubs of countries around (and way above) us that will be eliminated anyway as there are some more interesting mutual matches:
Astra Giurgiu (Romania) - Oleksandrija (Ukraine)
Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia) - Bnei Yehuda (Israel)
Olympique Marseille (France) - Oostende (Belgium)
FK Krasnodar ((Russia) - Lyngby (Denmark)
Sturm Graz (Austria) - Fenerbahce (Turkey)
Dinamo Bucharest (Romania) - Athletic Club (Spain)
Panionios will not play with their strongest squad in the Ties against Maccabi. The Iranian players are not allowed to play against Isreali people. Let alone travel to and play in Israel as the Iranian government feel the same about Israel as Pash does about Down Under.
