    Did you know the rule in Greece that a captain gets more matches suspension after a red card? The guys on Metropolis just mentioned it that Athanasiadis will get only one game as he is no longer the captain, but Glykos is. Otherwise he would have got a three games ban.....

    Skondras is going to play at Premiership-team Hamilton Academical. Pash, is that what they call Financial Fair Play? You play with the mind of a player, you leave his club with one good player less, you use a player you can not afford and than you ask if you can pay later. UEFA should ban this clubs that in fact have players for free.

    GMR just scored his first goal for Galata in their cup-game against the almighty 24 Erzincanspor. Galata is now leading just 3-2 and as I write this Nigel de Jong, the famous Dutch K1-fighter ehhhh midfielder, got sent of with two yellows after just 32'.

    Warda has signed his contract while being in Gabon for the Africa cup.

    Defender Abdul Rahman Baba tore his left anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup. He will be out for months and thus will miss the games against PAOK. The other injured players at the moment are Breel Embolo, Coke, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Franco di Santo.

    After losing at home against Atromitos we played 10 official games in Greece (SL and cup), scoring 22 goals and conceeding only two. It is a pity that those two conceeded goals led to a 1-0 defeat (PAO and PAS). In 16 league matches we conceeded 11 goals (of which 4 in that crazy game against Atromitos) and got 9 clean sheets. In the cup we played four games. All of them with a clean sheet. Statistically we do well. But do we really? My feelings say no.

    Berbatov, who is without a club for six months now, started training at his former club CSKA Sofia. It is not known if he will be rewarded with a contract or that he is just training to loose a few pounds.

    Lamprou is negotiating with the board of Willem II to extend his contract that last until this summer. Lamprou is doing well to the standards of a club like Willem II. He and his defenders only conceeded 21 goals in 19 games. Only the three traditional big shots in the Dutch league conceeded less goals.
