And there it is 1:0

We are getting away with murder out there. Still no cards in there (surprisingly).
-
Exactly. I would go with Biseswar to start with.
-
I think Matos and his elbows are more dangerous. He should have been carded already. Somebody needs to talk to him.
-
One of those two should have started.
-
Looks like their no. 11 is trying very hard to become our next transfer prospect.
-
The team we are playing is nothing special, but we still have some issues on defense. I think we need to score one goal and things will become easier.
-
Good for Pelkas. Hopefully he grabs his chance and performs. Looks like Biseswar might become a bench player.
-
Actually it is the first 7 home games in Superleague and Greek Cup combined. It was assumed that the 7th game will be a cup game. The only problem is that we assume things. Things change on daily basis in Greece and anything is possible. As for the point deductions, our point deductions were applied in last season's playoff standings.
-
Apparently Stanojevic is thinking of using the following starting lineup: ------------------------- Rey ----------------------- Matos - Varela - Crespo - Leveque ------- Canas ------------- Shakhov ------ Campos -------- Pelkas ---------- Mak -------------------- Prijovic -------------------

Looks like Warda is on his way out. Despite the fact that he received a second chance and even traveled to Kiev for the European game, it is reported that the technical team has decided to either sell him or loan him out.

Ideally you want the team to be 100% ready at the start of the SL season, but that is almost impossible. The good players that are on the market will wait until the last minute to get the best deal possible. Also the team might want to wait and see if some prospective players are cut from rosters by other teams. Also don't forget the European season starts way too early in order to do a proper planning. Players might want to wait and see if the team will play in the group stage before they commit. There are just too many angles preventing teams to be 100% ready before the league kick off. Also don't forget we are talking about a Greek league, which stands a good chance of not starting on time either. I think this season we are in fairly good shape, because we already have a core team from last season. We only need to bring in couple players in the positions you mentioned above. I think the team will ready for the SL. The only thing that worries me is the 6 games we are going to play behind closed doors.

According to reports Korovesis will be set free by PAOK and then join Platanias in a 2-year deal.

The playoffs were dictated by NOVA that wanted to televise more games. However NOVA now wants to cut the already agreed TV contract by 18%, even though there is contract in place. The big 4 countered with the elimination of the playoffs if that was the case. The problem is that for playoff elimination and team reduction must be passed with 12 SL teams to to vote for it. The small teams seeing that 4 teams will be relegated are not agreeing. Not only that they say that if NOVA cuts the revenue by 18%, they want the big 4 to replace the cuts from their own pockets. In other words the small teams don't want cuts to their revenue and also team reductions.
-
The team has the option to make one change 24 hours prior to the game. They are waiting for Rey to get an Italian passport, so he would not cover one of the foreign players spots. In any case by Wednesday he will be added to the UEFA list.
-
Start of the season is up in the air. During today's SL meeting: - no TV contact with NOVA has been finalized - no decision on how many teams will be relegated has been reached - no decision if playoffs will be played has been agreed on Basically it looks very likely that the season will not start on August 19 as scheduled. Like we did not expect that.
-
During a general Superleague meeting today they failed to agree with proposed changes. As a result there is no TV contract in place with NOVA. Also the start of the season is in doubt, since it has not been decided how many teams will be relegated and if playoffs will be played. Basically, the start of the season is up in the air.
