As usual at the last minute a deal was reached between Superleague and NOVA concerning television rights and revenue. The results of the deal are: - NO MORE PLAYOFFS - The TV deal is for 30 million per season and is good for 2 seasons. There is a clause where NOVA can't demand a cut during those two seasons. PAOK is not part of this deal. Instead we signed a 1 year deal with NOVA separately from the collective agreement. - The 12 "small" teams will receive extra money from the "Savvidis" league sponsorship

Klaus to Maccabi Haifa. Almost a done deal. On free transfer, but we retain 35% of resale. All this according to inPAOK. Only Ivan's blessing is needed to complete the deal apparently.

The only other thing to worry about is the weather and the fact that their pitch is artificial turf. However I think the 3:1 gives as big advantage. They will need to open up their game and we will score at least once if not more.

Deligiannidis would be a major improvement over Leovac today. It's quite evident the Swedes are in much better physical shape, and with their solid defense they easily contained us. Shakhov and Leovac have been dismal in this game. Unfortunately we have nobody to replace Leovac. Shakhov should come out and Pelkas and eventually Henrique need to come into the game.

Except for the Matos goal their defense has easily handled anything we tried in their box.

It's quite obvious the Swedes came in to play a double zone defense and hope for counters. Somehow we need to break their defense down and get that first goal.

The interesting fact is that the only Greek player on the pitch is not playing for PAOK!!!

Toumba looks pretty full 20 minutes before the game. I'd say around 18,000 people in the stands.
