  1. I would just sign Azevedo then.
  2. Big countries want to get paid to play games. EPO can't afford to pay big money to play countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Germany, etc. And with the invention of the Nations Cup UEFA wants to eliminate friendly games anyway. Our focus should be to get a decent coach and start re-building the NT with young players and eliminate all the agents controlling the national team for their benefit.
  3. Looks like we will not pay the 80K option to Atromitos for Giannoulis to break the loan which is in effect until June 2019. Wonder if we found another LB?
  4. Dinamo Zagreb offers 350K + % resale for Leovac. PAOK demands 400K and no percentage. Melissas we should just set free. Don't see any possibility of him coming back to PAOK. If Glykos and or Rey leave we already have Zivkovic from Xanthi lined up anyway. I said it before. We should not be doing any deals with Panathinaikos. I am sure there are teams in SL that we could sell or loan Kace (and Mystakidis) to.
  5. If the player's mind is on vacation in Santorini or Mykonos it makes no difference who we play. Even the last three scheduled friendlies were against teams that are better than us. They were all teams that made the World Cup and we didn't. Nations Cup's purpose is to replace the friendly games anyway. We'll probably play one more low level friendly game before that stupid tournament starts.
  6. With Prijovic and Warda going to Russia this will make it 14 active PAOK players taking part in the World Cup history. Here is the list of PAOK players that took part in the World Cup competition: 1990 - ITALY Magdi Tolba - Egypt 2 games: Holland 1:1, Ireland 0:0 1994 - USA Alexis Alexiou - Greece 1 game: Nigeria 0:2 2002 - Japan/South Korea Ifeani Udese - Nigeria 2 games: England 0:0, Sweden 1:2 2010 - South Africa Kostas Chalkias - Greece did not play Stelios Malezas - Greece did not play Pablo Contreras - Chile 2 games: Honduras 1:0, Brazil 0:3 2014 - Brazil Georgios Tzavellas - Greece did not play Panagiotis Glykos - Greece 1 game: Ivory Coast 2:1 Kostas Katsouranis - Greece 3 games: Colombia 0:3, Japan 0:0, Costa Rica 1:1 Dimitris Salpiggidis - Greece 4 games: Colombia 0:3, Japan 0:0, Ivory Coast 2:1, Costa Rica 1:1 Alexandros Tziolis - Greece did not play Charles Itandje - Cameroon 3 games: Mexico 0:1, Coatia 0:4, Brazil 1:4 2018 - Russia Aleksandr Prijovic - Serbia Amr Warda - Egypt
  7. Final 2017-2018 statistics for the PAOK loaned players: https://inpaok.com/454940/to-teliko-tamio-ton-danikon/
  8. El Kaddouri sounds like he wants to leave.
  9. Unorthodox? Straight out stupid if you ask me.
  10. Makes sense to me. You start with a warm up game against the youngsters and you finish with the TBA team which I assume will be a top name team to test you starting 11 for the CL game. The rest of the players will get one more chance against the Saudis to fight for the last few spots open on the team.
  11. The movie will be screened on Sunday June 10 (21:00 EEST) at the Cineplexx in Thessaloniki with coverage by PAOK TV. The movie will be streamed live on youtube at the same time.
  12. Our preliminary pre-season game schedule: 26-Jun: KAA Gent U23 (Belgium) 29-Jun: Anderlecht Brussels (Belgium) 02-Jul: FC Nordsjaelland (Denmark) 09-Jul: Steaua Bukurest (Romania) 16-Jul: Al Taawoun (Saudi Arabia) 16-Jul: TBA
  13. Our latest signing: NAME: Yevhen Hryhorovych KHACHERIDI POSITION: Center Back JERSEY NUMBER: 34 BIRTHDAY: 28-July-1987 BIRTH PLACE: Melitopol, Soviet Union HEIGHT: 1.98 m NT DEBUT: 10.10.2009: Ukraine – England 1:0 PREVIOUS TEAMS: Dynamo Kyiv, Volyn Lutsk, Olkom Melitopol CONTRACT ENDS: 30-Jun-2021 SALARY: € 1,500,000 per season
  14. Vladan ivic was announced as the new coach for Maccabi Tel Aviv for next season.
  15. Our first confirmed pre-season friendly is against FC Nordsjaelland from Denmark: 02-Jul-2018, 16:00 local time: PAOK - FC Nordsjaelland (Venlo, Holland)
  16. As pash wrote PAO wanted Kace and Mystakidis for one more season and fully paid by PAOK. PAOK's response to PAO was to take a hike. And rightly so. Don't forget that Crespo can also be a backup as a LB if needed in emergency. I think the odd man out on the CB position is Malezas. Savvidis is probably keeping him for the next season as a bonus for all his services to the team in the past.
  17. Well the plan is to have a 12 team league starting in 2019-2020, so I find it bizarre that the idiot is proposing a 20 team competition to precede it. The only reason I can see is that elections must be coming up and he is trying to appease all the possible voters in the cities that will benefit from expanded league. The guy has no clue. As long as the league is not trustworthy and is corrupted it won't matter how many teams are in the league. The average fan is not stupid. They want the titles and the games to be decided fairly and on the field. Something that has not been happening for a long time.
  18. The idiot Undersecretary of Sport Vasiliadis is pushing for a 20 team Superleague next season (2018-2019) divided into 2 groups of 10 and then have playoffs between the teams that finished in the top 5 for the title and European spots. The bottom 5 from each group will play to avoid relegation. Once the next season is done the Superleague will again be re-structured and will end up with 12 teams for season 2019-2020. When I first read that I thought it was April 1st, but he is actually serious about it.
  19. These loans where we pay the full salaries have to stop as well. Tell PAO that Kace will be set free for a little sum (let's say 100 - 200K). That way both teams benefit as our friend JVC wants us to believe.
  20. If he needs to be loaned out, there are much better teams than the backstabbing Panathinaikos we could loan him to.
  21. PAOK really needs to clean up the stable with the loaned players all over the place.
  22. Today EPO made it official. They voted to approve Superleague's change in regulations that prevent teams from being relegated if they don't get a license. The vote was 14-2 in favor. With this vote Panathinaikos and Panionios (and maybe other teams) will remain in Superleague but will start the season 6 point deduction. The funny thing is that this will be in effect only for next season. After that we go back to the old rules. Talk about banana republic.
  23. He can't help himself.
  24. My prediction is that Srna is not coming to PAOK. He left Thessaloniki not only not signing with the team he did not even go through the medical tests. He either used us to get a better deal somewhere else, or Lucescu told him he will not be a starter and he did not like that.
  25. I doubt either of them will be with PAOK this season. Couple English clubs are interested in Chatziisaia. If that is the case, sell him right away.
